Tank maker said the External Overflow box is design to cater 1260, if 1262 need to increase the length of the EOB ! btw, I have only one return pipe and do not want many piping behind the tank lor !

One MP40 may be too strong and the flow will be in one direction whereas 2 MP20 can placed at 2 rear side of the tank( separated by the centre EOF compartment) which able to produce better flow lor !

Hi all, My new 2ft cube tank is coming after 2 weeks time and the supplied return pump is Eheim 1260. I think it is OK if I connect directly to the main tank . However, if connected directly to my chiller 1st b4 back to the main tank may be too weak liao...am i right ? Should I change the return pump to 1262 instead since the tank not yet delivered ! or should use another pump to handle chiller instead ? I need all your comments, pls kindly advice . Thanks.

Saw/cut the pipe that connected to the return pump if glued. Get another good pump and connect from the new pump to the returned pipe by using Soft hose(eheim).

For time being...uses fan to blow direct on it till your chiller repaired lor ! Btw, There will be no problem for fishes w/o chiller...as long temperature dun hit 30 degree la But not for corals hor !

Tunze controllable nanostream is not chear either ! Regards to nite mode, Vortech will auto turn on/off after you pre-setted the nite mode feature. Duration is 10 hrs on nite mood after that back to 100% flow rate. It also has feeding pause mode like tunze mah !

If I'm not wrong...they are using Short Pulse Mode with max speed !

MP20 not sufficient for 4ft, so MP10 no need to test liao !
