Hi bro, You got 2 account name leh ? Anyway, LED is current driven not voltage driven so constant current is very important. Your formula is correct, 1A * 3V =3W but SSCP4 can go up to 3.75V which meant It's 3~4W LEDs. For your setup, IMHO...PLN-30-36 is the best bet ! Alternatively, you can look for sherman as he might have spare 1A Power supply driver to sell. Regards.

As usual, I'll use the Fluke wireless IR therometer to check the temperature and monitor it. The heat will increase but should not go super high lor or else may add Fin heatsink on top of the Alumi plate .

Time for Upgradingzzzzzzzzzzz.... ! I'll be changing 6 of my SSC P4 3 watt Pure White LED to SSC P7 12 watt Pure White soon And expecting to increase about 45-50watt more compare to currently stage. If the result is good and not melt/breach my SPS or coral, may consider change all PW to SSC P7 too . All Stuff that i purchased from DealExtreme.com is on the way liao ! Will post FTS of the current and upgraded lighting of my tank once completed and hopefully b4 this X'mas . Stay tune .

I have done both on emailing and phone calling and they never fail me. It's better to go down personally as the expertise there will advice you accordingly if your design look funny or not logic . I think they do customize all type of shape includes pending but be really to pay MORE .

I have purchased many acrylic sheets from DAMA since my 1st LED project and I found that the price is very reasonable. Cost will increase if you request for customized shape or hole..etc. but you still can bargain a bit ! Beside that, Their service is EXCELLENCE !!!
