hi. i am keeping a majestic angel in my reef tank. understand that it may be a threat to corals, but what the hell... no problems keeping it. eating very well and comes out quite a lot considering that it is a very shy fish by nature. i don't think majestic angels are prone to jumping, so it is probably dead in one of your rock caves... as asfur said, you better look for it and fish the body out. if not foul up your whole tank...

oh well... handed it over to my 4 inch peacock mantis (as seen below), which promptly smashed it up and ate it.

it's one of the smasher types, and about an inch long. kept punching the stick that i put into the hole. will hate to see this bugger grow to 2 inches or more in my tank...

caught a mantis from my tank today.. was looking at the tank then saw these all-too-familiar pair of eyes looking out at me. i immedately got a stick and tried to get it out of the hole, but it didn't work. so i put some salt down the hole and a second later, it shot out. caught it with a net. here are the pics.

thanks. the clams were from my old tank. got them quite some time ago. dun really have time to go shopping for LS cause got mid-years now... bought a couple of corals today though, will post pics soon.
