so i guess that's it for now.
i find that the colours of my corals don't really stand out. perhaps the kelvin temp too low? thinking of changing my bulbs to 14,000K. any opinions?
oops. wrong pic.
nvm. here's the pseudochromis i bought to eat my renegade camel shrimp. it (the shrimp) has already destroyed a branch of my hammer coral. just hope this guy here does its job...
btw. anyone noe what species it is?
heard of the elegance coral trick?
read that if you press the tentacles of the elegance against the aiptasia it will die in no time. still involves getting ur hands wet though.
speaking of camel shrimps, mine just destroyed a branch of my favourite hammer...
attempts to catch it have been unsuccessful. just think twice before adding any of those little buggers to your tank...
u sure you want a pistol shrimp? they can mess up your sandbed quite bad.
anyway your goby does not need a pistol shrimp to survive.
btw. i got my pistol shrimp from iwarna, so they do import them.
hold some salt in your fist and drop it down the mantis hole. when the bugger shoots out, grab it with a pair of tweezers/pliers depending on how big it is.
mine takes dried krill as a staple food.
occasionally feed it market prawn, FW crayfish, astrea snails etc.
if yours is a spearer type then you should provide live feeder fish as the bulk of its diet.
hey. i got a eheim 2213 with surface skimmer attachment for sale if you are interested..
used it for abt 6mths on my old 2.5ft tank. still in good condition.
