LOL Unlike the guy from M1 who swindled millions.. I am not gonna buy a $200,000 stingray.. lol Hmmmm.. I have to google what's an arapaima... omg.. that was one HUGE FISH!!!!!!!!!! anyway we only intend to keep goldfishes as we read that Koi though cute and small now will outgrow our pond.. and that would be too cruel. No proper filtration system just the media etc all thrown into the sump of the pond so we intend to keep our bioload as low as possible so that a bi weekly water change is all that's required to keep the Goldfishes alive and healthy.

Hey Siangz, thanks for the ride this morning. Well... today was ok la.. not that many nice stuff but I think Ketchup and I spent enough. LOL The gornio we got is all opening up and the african zoos and the blue faced red skirting common zoos look really cool under the blue LEDs. Acan and strawberry coral is AOK. I noticed that there are a few white spots on the tangs and all the fishes are going to the cleaner wrasse for a cleanup ( yes I am aware that cleaner wrasse don't remove itch.)... I can only hope and pray that my LS is fit enough to fight it. THe UV is on 24/7 since the AT was introduced into the sump on saturday so I'm gonna leave it on for a while more until I know everything is ok. Been overfeeding ever since we put in the AT in on Wednesday night to make sure the fishes have enough food to fight off any infection. Doing an approx 100L Water Change tomorrow morning and throwing in bacteria etc. Fingers CROSSED TIGHTLY! YT is no longer chasing the AT around but they still do occasionally tend to cross fins. Hoping the rhomboid will also recover from it's swollen eye. it's almost a month and it's still in the beta box! Actually tomorrow we are going to a Freshwater farm to look for.. GOLDFISHES to put into our water feature in front. .... @mmbnz : good luck with your tank setup... this forumn is chock full of info.. and of course there's also your skill in GOOGLE-FU to find any information you need on keeping a salt water tank. GOod luck!!

Siangz, If I get a PBT I will be asking for warzone in tank.. ahhaah now at least the YT, BT and AT seem to be getting along besides the occasional chasing by the YT to the At.. it's only Day 2 and so far most of the time the AT is left alone but sometimes the YT goes bonkers and chase him a bit and they both cross tail fins! Added a couple more corals bought from some kind bros here so I think have to stop liow after this Sat's LFS raid of Pasir Ris.. so long haven't go Pasir Ris.. I am LFS deprived!

Been monitoring from work and amazingly besides the occasional chase by the YT, it isn't as bad as i thought.. the AT was even grazing on the rocks. I think the AT is able to stand up against the YT pretty well. ) But still too early to tell la. hah Here are a few snapshots using the webcam.. can you spot the AT? LOL

update : THe AT was placed into the DT last night during moonlight at 11.30pm Got chased by the Yellow Tang but the AT seems to be able to hold his ground but still got chased by the bigger YT. I turned off the dining room light and things got calmer. The AT swam a bit around the tank but the YT was protecting it's sleeping area. THe AT I notice sometimes even fought back or stared back at the YT when the YT flared at it. I hope the AT becomes King. hahaha Woke up this morning and the AT seems ok.. threw in lots of pellets and the fishes came out to feed including the AT which is now hovering around one side of the tank. Added in the extra 3 rocks in the sump for more hiding places. hoping that the fishes will get along besides the occasional scruffle.

belina!! finally a tank thread from you.. many years of experience condensed into 1 page. so you also decided to go to the dark side..... I haven't yet. I"m still content with LPS and zoos.. at least I hope to grow a nice collection of them. i just love fishes and feeding them too much to be able to have such clean water for SPS hahaahah Good to see your tank thread!

hahaah sigh... ketchup is of the opinion to keep 1 or 2 more nights in the sump and then release it nearing the weekend so that we can monitor it... as during the day nobody is at home... and I can only view via the webcam... We fed it at 7.30pm and again at 9.30pm tonight about 30 pellets each time.. and it ate almost all of it.. dropped about 5-6 at a time to make sure it manages to get everything.... fed it this morning at about 8am before I left for work too. SO is majority of the opinion to release into the main tank for more space for the AT? I know it's a risk either way but it's good to know what everyone else thinks. Perhaps release it tomorrow night when the moonlight is on.. less stress for the fish. Have to take out the 3 rocks from the sump to create a bit more hiding places too Oh and, wilson, the monti is.. well.. still alive.. I stuck it at a crevice at the top of the tank with lots of light... it doesn't seem to be growing but it isn't dying either! LOL .. so this is neutral news!
