Maybe your tank has allot of dead spots? not enough flow? High Phosphates? Have you tested for phosphates? Rowaphos is a good media to remove phosphates. another good media to remove red slime algae is the zeovit : Coral snow and Zeozym combination. Expensive but works like a charm. good luck

I would really encourage you to invest in an iceprobe for your little 1 feeter. Your corals will appreciate you doing that! HAah epecially since you're trying SPS! singapore is so hot it's crazy these days...

Hey zorden, may I suggest you try the Zeovit Coral Snow and Zeozym combination... it worked for me. Got rid of all the dirt ( the brown diatoms) on my sand and it's supposed to get rid of the Red Algae as well.

Jack.. WOW... I doubt I would ever be able to get those kind of corals since my fishys eat frozen food.. can never be able to bring my nitrates to a level that can support these.. so pretty!
