yes the water level in the return pump chamber is always lower than the rest, I don't really bother with it. As long as the water is circulating, i'm fine with it that way. And since my office temp is pretty low, it won't overheat. If you're afraid of the water level going down too much , do alternate day top ups depending on your Evap or do with some salt water.

they are pest anemones and will overrun your tank.

you can't control where the anemones will end up going... it's a hit and miss in my opinion with them. If your wavemakers are all high up it shouldn't be a problem .... it's probably hiding somewhere and will appear sooner or later. My very first anemone ended up sticking it's base onto the glass so it's like i'm seeing it's "backside" rather than the front for awhile before it decided to move AGAIN and found a rock crevice to stick it's base in. LOL good luck

whatever works for you although I admit my eye lids did rise up reading you hardly do any WC but I suppose every system is different. my main tank is also chock full of nutrients as I love to feed my fishes and watch them gobble up all those mysis! LOL so I"m 150,000% sure my nitrate is hitting 50ppm from the last testing I did 2 weeks ago but I do a weekly WC Of about 80L out of my 700L tank capacity for my own personal gratification and habbit.

LOL and they are all white so I HAVE to label them otherwise I wouldn't know what is what... yeah did it slowly.. mix them all up together in my RO DI water and then pour into the IQ5... I don't do too much as the volume is small.. so as long as everything dissolve, then I just pour in.

@dirtnitro : I got the stand from Dr Evil.... @mini-reefer : I don't really feed him anything specific... as I only have 1 pom pom and 1 firefish so everyday I throw in some pellets and once a week is a couple of pieces of mysis which I think the crab will pick up from the sand .. that's it. So far the crab has not done anything to my corals at all.. besides I have quite hardy corals in my pico being zoos, anemone and a clove, yuma and mushy.. so far, nothing has happened to any of my corals. well vinc, there are quite a few in the market available in Singapore, maxspect ( Dr Evil), lumenaqua ( Aquarium Artist), ecolamp (Aquamarin), there is a brand that Coral Farm brings in but I don't know the name of it... There are other brands which you'd have to ship in like MAME (http://reefbuilders.com/2010/05/28/video-mame-designs-2nd-generation-ecolight-49-watts-rgb-yellow-leds/) no not the snack! or Orphek (http://www.orphek.com/)... tons of brands out there.. Google for the win.

hahah well reaper my pico is ok because now i'm using eggcrate rather than the acrylic cover so better ventilation and because my office is very cold... no issues right now at all.
