  1. You can try Eiho Prazi Gold or any medication that has Praziquantel as the main ingredient. You find Eiho Prazi Gold at C328. Good luck.
  2. Your setup does not permit you to keep any coral. You should focus your $ and energy on a fowlr tank. Do a search for nano fish and nano tank on the Internet. You will be spoilt for choices. Since you do not have the space for a skimmer, you will need to do more WC. In my opinion, at least twice a week if you want your fish to strive. You do not need to do 100% WC. Just 20% will do. That is only 2.4 gallon each time. You can get those 5 gallon jerry can and buy NSW from Iwarna for only $2. A wall mounted tank with lively fish is definitely do-able with some extra effort and patience.
  3. Congratulations ! ! You have done Singapore proud. I salute you for your passion and perseverance.
  4. Since you do not have a sump, you are limited to those hang-on skimmers. Try to look for those hang-on type. Some of these hang-on skimmers requires you to have the feeder pump inside the display tank which is quite ugly. I am currently using the Red-sea Prism skimmer for my 2ft x 2ft x 1ft reef tank. The feeder pump is bundled nicely within the skimmer. So everything hangs nicely outside the tank. May not be the best skimmer around but it suits my purpose. If you have the budget, one of the best is the Deltec MCE 600. A point to note, if you have euro bracing all round your tank then hang-on skimmer is not for you. I have a Rio Nano skimmer which I keep as a spare. If you are interested, PM me.
  5. If the white dot is increasing in size rapidly then I believe the outcome will still be the same. You have tried your best. This angel and many others like it should be left in the ocean. The supply will only stop if the demand stop. The only way to stop lfs from importing these fish is to stop buying them. Very hard I know but we must try to resist.
  6. I am using Iwarna's nsw too. No problem. However, do take note, their sg is on the low side (1.019 to 1.021). If your tank is a fowlr no problem. For reef tank you need to top up with salt mix.
  7. Love your Red Planet ! Too bad my tank cannot support this babe. Can only lau nau (drool). Currently only the Chillie Pepper and Forest Fire doing well. Upz for your sale.
  8. You can get Prazi from C328. It is sold under the name Eiho Prazi Gold (main ingredient is Praziquantel). Prazi is used to treat gill flukes.
  9. Have tried those green filter pad ? I put them under my eheim return pump.
  10. I am using NSW for my 2ft x 2ft x 1ft nano reef (sps + soft coral) tank. I change water every 2 days. I noticed the sg of the NSW is always around 1.019 to 1.021. I have to add salt mix to boost it up to 1.026. So far no problem.
  11. Looking at the context in which it is used, I am 80% sure it is Potassim Permanganate. This is a purple coloured powder used to dis-infect fresh water aquarium or pond. It is very effective against parasitic infection. I have not heard of this being use in a reef aquarium. I would strongly suggest you research more before trying it.
  12. If you are referring to Potassium Permanganate, most pharmacy sell them.
  13. In my opinion, your tank is not mature enough to handle your intended bioload. If you can, I would suggest you wait at least 2 months before adding any of the big Tangs and Angels. In the mean time, you should add bacteria to hasten the maturity of the filtration system. Your tank's capacity is only 85 gallon (without LR). Throw in the LR and you have alot lesser space for your fish. Big Angels and Tangs require at least 120 gallons tank to do well. Both the Blue Face and Emperor are very aggressive and territorial fish. The Majestic will not stand a chance. I strongly recommend you give this fish a miss. In fact, I would go so far to advise you to keep either the Blue Face or the Emperor but not both. Angels and Tangs are Ick magnets. If you get them from lfs, it is almost impossible to avoid them. For this reason, it will be better if you can get them from the reefer in this forum. It may cost a little more but you are assured of a properly climatised fish. If you do not quarantine your fish, it is one more reason for you to get your fish from reefer. Not quarantining your fish is like playing russian roulette. Many reefers decomm within 12 months of starting this hobby because of the constant dying of their life stocks. If you want to be successful in this hobby, you must have patience and reasonably deep pocket. Lastly, welcome to this great forum. I hope to still hear from you after 12 months.
