  1. Lol, I predict your YT will be begging for mercy before the week is over.
  2. Hi Vincent, both tanks have very well designed rock scape. All your sps frags are growing very well with good polyp extensions. Fantastic father and son team. Your AT's ich will eventually disappear with good water condition. My Powder Blue Tang, after more than a year still have a couple of ich spots every now and then. I am sure you are aware your AT will not allow you to add anymore new Tangs (haha, I will gladly trade-in all my Tangs for one surviving AT). In terms of agression, AT and Powder Blue Tang rank right at the top. Once again, well done Looking forward to more updates from you.
  3. That is one awesome AT. However, the frantic swimming means it is very stress (as well as distress). A stressed AT means weaken immunity which will eventually lead to ick. As this fish comes from a reliable source, there is no reason for you to subject it to double stress (first time in the sump, second in the main tank). If I were you, I would release it into the main tank ASAP. My usual practice is to first feed the fish in the main tank well. Hopefully a full stomach will reduce agression. Do not feed the AT. Switch off the lights. If you have moon light, leave it on. After 1 hour, release the AT. You need not worry about the BT and YT bullying the AT. Your AT will eventually be the alpha fish in your tank.
  4. Hi bro, I will take the Overflow box. Please sms collection address to 9749 4623. Regards Michael
  5. Same here. I sms you about the overflow box but received no reply. Perhaps the mobile number is wrong.
  6. Do you have a picture of Z1 under white light ?
  7. Nice catch. About 2.5 to 3 inches in size ? One of my favourite. You will a have much better chance if your tank has plenty of algae for it to graze. May the force be with you.
  8. Daily top up of buffered aged water. Recently noticed my ca and kh is on the low side. Therefore have started daily dosing of 1 cap of Purple-up and alternate day dosing of Seachem Reef Builder.
  9. Thank you for the compliment. Trying to keep things simple.
  10. The 3rd Pocci is gorgeous. All your sps doing very well. Fantastic job.
  11. Top view Cannot resist the centrefold of this damsel Another shot Got this pair from Ah Beng yesterday That's all for now. Enjoy.

  13. Very nice and neat tank. All you need now is a pair of nice Percula Clown to go with it. Can you share where you got your blenny from ? If possible pm the price to me ? Thanks
  14. You may want to try this link: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/june2002/chem.htm Personally, if your corals are doing ok, I will do nothing. Just stop dosing to allow the system to consume your Ca and KH.

Interesting thought. I should think the CB is more afraid of the anemones's toxic sting.

Aiptasie is also anemones so i am thinking if they feed on them, then ,maybe it might feed on other anemones.

  19. Lol, bro, you finally manage to trap the bugger. This beauty has got very expensive taste. It look so good because it had eaten many of your gems. Anyway upzz for your sale.
  20. Getting a Powder Blue to eat is not the problem. Keeping it alive is the real challenge. Sometimes it will bring along its friends when it goes up the lorry.
  21. Managed to purchase the pump from a very nice reefer. Moderator please close this thread. Thank you.
  22. Wattage is 38 watt, same as mine. The only difference is the normal 2000/I does not have the following: My only concerned is this pinwheel may not fit the normal 2000/I. The price of the pinwheel model is 80% higher than the normal model. If I buy the normal model and my old pinwheel does not fit than I am screwed. Maybe I should play safe and just bite the bullet and buy the pinwheel model.
  23. Dear Bros & Sis, My AquaBee 2000/I pump connected to my HnS skimmer has stopped working. The normal AquaBee 2000/I sold by lfs does not have the pinwheel impeller and air tube connector. Anyone know where I can find the AquaBee 2000/I that will work with my HnS skimmer ? If you know an alternative brand that will serve the same purpose I am open to suggestions. Thank you.
