If you are really keen to make sure the white balance is correct (note: correct White balance may not make your coral looks nicer ), you can try insert a piece of white paper (or better if you have a 18% grey card) into the tank and meter on that. In post process, just use that shot and you can correct the whole series by using the same colour temperature. I haven't try for shooting aquarium but the theory is the same.
yeah, i like the sump design can visualise how it looks with some fishes. Personally i think a tall sump should be good.. take up less space but higher water volume.
Tank size is a little on small side for 2 tangs but still ok... try rescape your rocks a little. Also, feed more and make sure the PT is eating. Good luck
i think purple and YT, if you feed them food like seaweed and other food, once they start eating those, they become LAZY and don't eat much algae.
Technically and occasionally, i still see my YT and BT eat algae, but not much.
Based on personal experience i think what Lemon say is true... I once had a Tomini tank, it's really good in eating algae... but don't look nice..
You can even see his "kissing" marks clearly on the back panel with all the algae
I think just wait a while. We got one from RB a week ago and it's doing well. In fact, we shifted it twice (because of placement reason) and both spots seems to be fine. One was stronger but indirect flow, the other medium but more direct flow.
hehe.. i met one of the senior photographer, Charlie Lim, last weekend at Sengkang. He let SSC use his Antique camera to kickstart their sports photography exhibition.
I think he says the camera should still be functional but the flash is not
