  1. Lemon, i think for Tangs, esp AT, quarantine won't help, prob cos the ich to occur even faster as AT needs lots of flow and swimming space. Anyway, knowing Dave, he will be back with a vegeance and stock up some nice fishes Just a small setback for great things to come!
  2. Hi Dave, the AT will be missed.. such a nice big fella.
  3. Hi Mark my wife was very tempted to adopt Waggy, who is very obedient, but we have other concerns so ended up didn't adopt yet.
  4. aiya... use live or dead rock still the best, esp those that are very porous.. light and yet nicely shaped
  5. ya, i think what cedric says is true... also, the risky part is when you move the artificial rock or remove it and put back into the system.
  6. jacky already mounted the dosing pumps... just never update with pics.. POST PICS PLS!
  7. SL still have about 5 nice size healthy looking AT, lots of Yellow Tangs, Flame Angels, 2 potteri angels and many other fishes.
  8. Hi Reef finder... nice to meet you over the weekend:) Mark right?
  9. aiya... if we can't speak our minds about what we like/dislike, that would have defeated the purpose of a public forum for discussion.
  10. LOL, if you read what Lemon has written, he only says what he likes... how did that translate to put down others? As you have said it best, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Back to the topic, the Dejongi and the conspic are very nice!
  11. Can mix with normal sand as it will be seeded over time.
  12. ic... Fish only, don't really need sand unless you have wrasses... If u keeping wrasses, can pile or place sand in a small container at one corner for them..
  13. Get the live sand/agronite from Caribsea, good quality... helps to cycle the tank fast too. Also, do note if you put eggcrate below it will create some sort of deadzone due to no water/air passing through..What i did was to prop up the eggcrate a little with some of the T-joint pipings.
  14. Pro ma.. u think like some angmo use hand meh? Keke!
  15. The MP is definitely reefer friendly.. they are men in blues! LOL
  16. Very organised! Nothing like me and Desi! LOL
  17. Yellow wrasse is not so jumpy..
  18. Sealife is at balestier.. Marinelife is at Hong Leong Gardens.
  19. i won't recommend 6 line for a small tank.. they are small but very aggressive Yellow wrasse is safest bet.
  20. yeah, the new joc at CF is very nice and healthy
