  1. yeah... i always get too excited and never ask them to demo feeding! lol... It's Powder Brown la... bro.. Powder Blue... must wait even longer Ya.. hopefully he start eating la.. shd be quite hopeful as i think the pellets and food cannot dissappear elsewhere right? Tonight maybe check the pvc piping that i put in to stack up the rock for him to have some "privacy". Scarely, he sweep everything inside..
  2. Bought from CF.. did not check with Auntie on whats he's feeding on as he looks healthy enough... I think he may have nipped at the pellets we thrown in as i don't see much on the bottom now.. Go home tonight and check again.
  3. haha.... reminds me of the story Shan at GO told us... he says someone's wife turns up one day to spot check... cos she found the credit card all GOLDEN OCTOPUS... she thought is some sleazy niteclub! haha.. actually hor, if you order the NSW from iwarna, they just pump into your tank, very fast and clean.. no mess..
  4. Wah, Justin so fast decide to upgrade ah...Good Luck
  5. Ya.. for pico tank, making one batch of salt water is easy.. can last a while.
  6. I think don't get too small.. 2-3 inches i think is the best.. So far, BT is quite hardy so long as when it is added, it does not get too stressed and get ich.
  7. Eh, why not use NSW for cycling? faster and more convenient... and quite cheap too if u have big tank.
  8. ya.. YT usually a bit more aggresive.. BT once it's healthy and eating... it's like a PIG!
  9. Common clownfish is fairly easy to keep, usually people keep a pair or more. not aggressive.
  10. Giesemann - available from Reef Depot. The MH can be fixed to be hang from ceiling or top of the cabinet..
  11. Aiya... i believe in doing well one time rather than keep upgrading part by part since we are not those good in DIY stuffs.. so no choice lor! LOL
  12. one question.... our Powder Brown Tang in the QT seems to be not eating at all, so far fed him swaweed flakes, pellets and seaweed on clip but i hardly see him eat anything at all... we even add in a piece of liverock with a bit of algae hoping he would graze but nothing seems to work.. Any idea what else can we try? He seems healthy though... no sign of ich nor is he very agitated.... just swimming around and not eating.
  13. ahh.. we still waiting for ours... sianz..
  14. Ya, i may have to do that as the chiller kicks in too often.. haizz
  15. well, i'll monitor and see how it goes.. at the moment the green wrasse is actually one of the smaller fishes in my tank so hopefully they won't go hostile when they grow... This morning found our yellow watchman goby dead... not sure why, no sign of injury or anything...
  16. from my experience, anemone don't really need very strong light... they just need a rock to wedge themselve in..
  17. i have blue tang and yellow tang in my 2 ft tank and again now in my 4 ft.. I would say they gets along well and not aggressive. However, if your tank is not too big, keeping both may be a problem in the long run as they do grow.. and quite fast too.
  18. Why leh? This pretty wrasse is a beautiful pale green.Provide a sand bed for this wrasse to bury itself in when it feels threatened or frightened. Keep the tank covered as this fish may jump out. This wrasse can be kept with other peaceful wrasses. The green wrasse will grow to about 8 inches and be quite hardy if the right conditions are available. Keep a temperature between 72-78 degrees, SG at 1.020 and 1.025, pH 8.0-8.4.The green wrasse will eat bristle worms and pyramidellid snails protecting corals and clams. It may eat feather dusters, ornamental shrimp, tubeworms, and flatworms. Offer a variety of prepared and live meaty foods such as feeder shrimps, flaked foods, and marine fish.Feed this fish daily. The Wrasse family of fish is a large group of usually very colorful free swimmingfish. These fish are powerful swimmers using their pectoral fins to propel themthrough the water. Wrasses usually have powerful jaws that enable them to crushtheir food, which includes worms. These fish usually have long continuous dorsalfins and are found in groups in the wild. The Wrasses are one of the few fish thatwill bury themselves in the sand when sleeping or during flight. Wrasses are alsoable to change their sex during these phase changes. doesnt seems to have problem... as far as i understand except may grow to abt 7-8 inches..
