We threw in 5 medium size prawn (hmmm not tiger prawns la... LOL) for our 4 ft (ours a little bigger than normal 4 ft, it was 4 x 3 x 2 ft). And in our case, hardly any smell... could be because we use live sand and some live rocks so tanked cycled after 5 days...

If you just pour in, will have tsunami... and all the sands will be stirred up.. I am also considering of adding in some live sand (cos mine is black live sand anyway). So i believe one way is to use a funnel on top and extend a hard tube (like those rubber hose) and slowly pour into the area (preferable side of the tank).

They are reserved though.... 3.6k each so don;t bother unless you wanna go take a look.. i believe the swissguard basslet still available.. as a pair.

Hi Wilson Sad to hear about your barlett... similar to what happened to us... we bought 5, 1 wasnt very healthy (got a scratch i think) and died.. then later another also gone... Also, perhaps you have bought the wrong sex.. they say if keep multiple, must get 1 male and rest female.. otherwise the males will fight until left 1.. Anyway, thats life... sometimes is like that.. take it easy..

We will likely stick to LPS for now la.. since we still have problem with our temp.. like desi says, we already spent alot these 2 months.. time to stop for a while then slowly cheong and pick up some gems.. For the rics, we also noticed some are nicer and will try and get it but these days, rics are like hotcakes... it's like playing faster fingers first !

ehh... ur tank is small is it? i assume u mean when you off your wavemaker, temp decrease? that's possible as wavemaker generates heat... unless you get Vortech, where the motor is outside the tank...

Haiz... the flame wrasse we bought is dead.. just found it dead in a cave inside one of the bigger rocks.. already decomposing... sad man.. i didn't even see the wrasse in action as i was only back from work around 10+
