Possible. I think the key is the thickness of the glass. Marine tank usually need thicker glass due to the heavier density of salt water.

Interesting design of the bottom... Actually i feel with the kerb, it will still be flooded and the worst thing is you can clear the water underneath... for flat surface, you can at least blow/vacuum or use paper towel to dry it...

yeah, agree that monti looks nice in reef tank... gives it a natural look and overhangs over rocks to provide shade/cover for fishes... somehow our tank doesn't suit monti.. even the simple monti not growing... The chili pepper from Dr Ang seems to be ok.. keep my fingers crossed.

It's called torch coral from the recent Iwarna shipment, we got 2, 1 of them is green, the other slightly pinkish.

ya, most people choose liverock based on visual (to see any nuisance algae etc) and smell (whether it stinks! avoid!)

Sis Ming You are using the fake liverock right? perhaps you may want to consider securing it down with cable tie or something like what we did as when you fill it with water... it will float!

I think the freshwater incident is probably due to untreated chlorinated water. For the saltwater tank problems... have you actually tested the parameters at all?

I think impt thing is whether it has a place to hide/sleep... wrasses are quite sensitive... they will just panic and zoom into their habitat.. thats why they need fine sand so it will avoid injury.
