  1. Hi BFG, yes, i understand the growth part. Based on my observation, yellow wrasse is definitely more peaceful species of the two. However, my green wrasse has not really been aggressive. In fact I recently added 2 small yellow wrasses in the MT and the green wrasse don't really bother them after the initiate period of maybe 1-2 days. Likewise, I believe we introduce a rhomboid a while back it also never really bother. However, I have to say, different people have different experience and luck so it may all come down to that as well.. Just like we can never keep PBT. haiz.
  2. hmm, lemon, so just deworm before introducing to MT i guess?
  3. yes, I think generally wrasses don't really kajiao corals except for maybe yellow/green wrasses picking some stuffs off zoas.. Can't comment abt ANGELS since i don't keep.
  4. As long as you don't feed too much to pollute the system it should be fine. You can try different type of food like pellets, flakes, mysis or nori even. I know some fishes are not known to eat it but almost all m fishes now eat nori, even cleaner wrasse (which is prob the reason why it still survives.) The best way is to ask LFS to feed and let u see. Then you can get the same food... usually u prob have it already
  5. Talking abt wrasses... i recall most people saying Green wrasse is very aggressive and grows very big but mine, so far ok eventhough it's probably one of the biggest wrasses... abt 4-5 inches already but i think stop growing already.
  6. Very nice, actually with your light, you can go prob 6 inches to 1 feet longer
  7. We bought the bottom right 1 i think...yellow with red skirting.. YT... u met me b4 meh?
  8. ohh, prob after we left then as i think they left after us.. we left around 8.10pm i think
  9. Yeah, are you there? I only saw CFOh, Ahlee and Gambit(not sure if i got the nick right)...
  10. Thanks YT! I love gornio as well.. in fact, just bought 2 yesterday! LOL
  11. Hmmmm, so far i know most wrasses are quite shy so you can't keep aggressive fishes with it. Of course, predatory fishes like hogfish should be avoided. I kept my wrasses with flame hawk, anthias, mandarin, clown goby, tangs (blue/yellow and AT) all no issue so far so i think these are relatively safe.
  12. I love the LR also.. zeovit... u should check out RC's TOTM for Sept, the HK tank thread
  13. What me and desi do is use coral rx on Zoas (because of nudi branch) and for other corals usually use the coral cleaner to rinse it.
  14. oh ya... my bad... I thought he's asking for peppermint... don't think there's any cleaner shrimp at Iwarna... Ah Beng i think still have some in plastic bags though.
  15. 1 cube of mysis for 3 fishes seems a lot to me imo... unless you don't feed anything else.
  16. Must make sure unsalted and no preservatives though.. for peace of mind, i will still for for julius sprang...
  17. Very nice and neat tank build... love the clean look and LED light... pls share with us more!
  18. Yes, try and avoid epoxy all the rocks.. When choosing live rocks, try and visualize your rockscape and choose a mixture of rocks. Some base rock, some with crevices etc. Epoxy the rocks will give you headache next time when you want to remove a rock or rescape. Just stack it and make sure it won't fall will do.
  19. Iwarna i think still have some... think was 3 for 40, 1 for 15
  20. THe tank dimension is still about 3x2x2 so unless you using LED and have aircon on... i think you will likely need chiller..
  21. haha.. Dr Ang envy meh... u go take ur sps la... almost wanted to go Bedok Reservoir LFS today....
