  1. Nice leopard wrasse... good to see your harlequin shrimp doing well.
  2. I think it depends on what type of corals you need. If it's SPS, i believe you will need to dose more often and thus, dosing pump or CR prob make sense. If LPS, you can prob get by manual dosing after water change.
  3. ahh, congrats!! Open house will be nice if we happen to go back and take some letters, maybe will PM u to see if you around. As for the glass, i know which one... you may want to install small exhaust if need to extract more hot air out.. Good also, can dry clothes faster!
  4. 4X250MH is alot of light:) But if your SPS is nearer to surface, you can prob reduce the MH photoperiod and save some $$. Also, the chiller will kick in less often. Looking at your setup, i think it will kick in a lot as the whole tank is enclosed.
  5. Jetski, my view is this. As it is, i think your scaping is too close, whereby there's not much space in between rocks. This i feel is not so ideal for fishes, especially since you seems to like big fishes as they need some space to swim through and hide/sleep. Hence, I still think creating a couple of caves/crevices for fishes to swim through will be better. I also suggest you increase the height as now, you have plenty of space up top. I doubt your SPS will grew so fast till it rest the top. If it does, likelihood is you will already frag it as it will be way too big If you wish, can put some fast growing SPS like birdnest etc on top.
  6. We always dip in Coral RX for zoas.. Coral cleaner for other corals.
  7. Jetski, i think you should have some caves etc and stack your rocks higher. The SPS can get more light also.
  8. haha, nope, just shifted our tank over. Only good thing is the tank is now easily access from the raised dinning area.

  14. I was tempted but because of their behaviour, i dont think suitable for reef tank.. When scared, they will just go straight down into the sand... so prob will hit the tank bottom! LOL
  15. bumblebee snails look nice but not hard working. I suggest you get a nassi snail or 2. Cheap and hardworking.
