  1. do black cukes aka dung crash tanks when they die by releasing obscene amounts of ammonia/toxins? or those only belong to the sea apple family or something like that. =\
  2. AT's kidding. I think. =\ seriously, its a steel nail? go to the hospital to do an X-ray of your ailmentary canal immediately.
  3. don't think so lah. so high tech. hahaha. then again I wouldn't know coz I haven't used it yet. but most probably no. hahaha you want data logger for what? (=
  4. fingernail, no problem. will probably be passed out when you move your bowels. steel nail. major problem.
  5. call me fussy, but it'll be the last thing I do. I had a torrid time working for McDonalds when I was younger. don't want to relive my horrible memories.
  6. think I'll just do that. (= the only turn of is the horrible location from Bishan aka where I stay. unless I can drive there. and deprieve my mother of the car. bleah. thanks for the solution anyways! (=
  7. but I think these radar detectors and scanners, though proven, may not work here as we do not know what type of radar system/scanners our TP is using. hmm okay enough. TCS or Toyota Club Singapore doesn't allow for such public posting as you'll never know if a TP copper is looking at the thread. think I'll stop here. (=
  8. I wonder if ML has openings for a scrawny pea sized bouncer during the next two months.
  9. I bought a made in Singapore one called AquaSentry. bought it from Petmart. monitors pH and temperature constantly. console system is a bit on the bulky side, but I don't mind lah. the price is $140. haven't try it out yet as my tank hasn't even arrived yet.
  10. true true. but I wonder how I go about it. Henry I don't mind working for you, for a small token fee of course. hmm. sekali he give me one clam or something as a token fee. when I don't even have my tank yet. bleah
  11. I thought of that. but I'm a complete no brainer when it comes to marine. need to rely heavily on old SRC threads to dig out information one.
  12. I guess SAF mantra comes to play here. do anything, but don't get caught. hur!
  13. true. but to a certain extent, it is legal.
  14. a bit expensive hor? the filter valves that is. then again, I don't know. my five cents.
  15. I thought dirt is not sucked out but filtered out instead by passing water through a set of filters? be it mechanical or biological. hmm. =\
  16. and shit. silly boy me just realised I posted this in the wrong urh...thread, again! can any kind moderator help me move it to Kopitiam?
  17. what makes you so sure that waters from these oceans are spared from pollutants? like a very wise Greenpeace saying goes, pollution knows no boundaries. safest bet is always to mix your own saltwater mix out instead of over-relying on LFS for your water. (= sorry if I sounded like I'm snapping at your heels. just my five cents worth.
  18. my cocker spaniel of nine years sleeps with me in the air conditioned room, but still eats of the bowl. is that poor or rich, then?
  19. a thousand apologies for the repeated postings.
  20. firstly, its LFS secondly, its dependant on what is inside the sea water. sea water contains many things that you don't know of, including pollutants, microscopic orangisms that may be detrimental to an enclosed environment like a fish tank. (=
  21. I'm desperate! hehz. any part time job lobangs for me? I hope I can do this in the forum. coz the newspapers carry really sad requirements, ie O levels minimum. I don't even have my Os but I got my ORD cert! (=
  22. there isn't such thing as best and worst, actually. canister does its job pretty well for ammonia and nitrite....but as for nitrate, it doesn't enjoy the success rate as much as macroalgae and a deep sea bed or a DSB. so yeah. (=
