when you are in a London to Paris, Paris to London (LPPL) situation, you pretty much have no choice but to buy your degree. I hope I don't offend anybody by saying that.
-
well.... money makes the world go round. money talks. money can buy you anything in the world. need me to say more?

I'm not talking about any games in particular. I'm talking about Robert Pires and his diving antics in general.

Is the grass really greener on the other side?
terryansimon replied to weileong's topic in General Reefkeeping_
I personally know of people who have migrated to XYZ country, only to come back to Singapore after a while. the prospects of migrating over is very good at first. which is why the proverb is the grass is always greener on the other side. it means that from where you are, the grass looks much more appealing to you, hence you want to graze to that plot of land. the is also another meaning to the proverb, and it's that it may be a sense of false hope. I think false hope is too strong a term to use. but what I mean is that the people who come back to Singapore do so because they either can't adapt to the way of life there, or the weather is wrecking havoc to their bones. like my mum's friends. they went to Canada to retire there, but came back two years later. they said that the cool climate there caused them a lot of hurt and discomfort to their joints. so yah. my two cents. I agree with Chris. which is why I don't bother watching any of the idol shows. unless it's auditions.

blue linkias for sale at Marine Life. nice for harlequin shrimp owners. (= -
they can still choose the strongest competitor, like what you said. it's a catch 22 situation if you ask me.
-
care to explain about how you feel when Robert Pires flies to the ground at break neck speed? (= like one reefer said, it's really a taste of Arsenal's own bitter medicine.

tuition fee is not $13k. that is the rough average. it can be more or less. a foundation in engineering for example, can set you back up to $16k per year. and are you sure it's $13k per sem and not per year? that makes it $26k per year. it's like paying for a year's worth of tuition in a medical degree. not so ex lah. it's $13k average for one year's worth of tuition in foundation.

nice idea...... but what if rich boy or girl's friends decided to work in cahoots and vote other people off instead?

in my own humble opinion, I don't think a tips section will be advisable. it's like discussing politics in this forum. you may be playing with fire with the authorities. not nice to get bitten if you ask me. (= but nice to know that you're willing to contribute tips. I don't gamble though. and I'm under 21. I'm 10.

precisely. tactics must be adjusted when you have such matches. even during the days when George Graham was at the helm with Arsenal, it was still a bruising encounter when these two teams met. the day Arsenal or Man Utd invite each other to play like the Sunday league teams will be the day the EPL gets dissolved and they have kicks around the ballpark. apart from that, why complain and shout? it made the match interesting. unless you're in it for the sake of money. but I watched the match for the sake of football, and I found it rather interesting. although as a Man Utd fan, I must agree that van Nistelrooy's tackle on Cole was really too much.
-
actually, I don't see what the hullabaloo over the diving thing is about. you see Robert Pires diving pretty often as well....I don't see any Arsenal fans making a cross-reference back to their own player. I've seen the older ex-Arsenal players *Winterburn, Parlour, Dixon etc.* being physically rough like what Ruud did to Cole, but I don't see any Arsenal fans making a cross-reference back to them. gee. how one tracked. I don't need to start on how viscious Patrick Viera used to be. as they say in karma, what goes around, comes around. I'm sure it'll come around to bite Man Utd in the butt too. (=
-
speaking of Arsenal, how do you guys rate Thierry Henry? I notice he's good at devastating premier league defences, but when it reaches the international arena, he's a bit stale. frankly I find his international strike partner David Trezeguet much better.

I heard the noise is like having an air con compressor running. but not so quiet. then again, what to expect. it's an industrial version, and I bet the last thing on them industrial folk's minds will be the noise.

ah. logically, a cat wouldn't even grow to that size and proportion. but the size of all the creatures in the pictures are beyond logic. so you can't use logic to explain, can you? (= although I agree with Rumor's logic. whoops. just contradicted myself.

I've seen worse. I've seen refrees getting bullied into reversing decisions. I've seen refrees fouling up so badly, even a 10 year old kid will not make such a schoolboy error. they are human. and it's what gives football the twist we all love.
