no malice intended on my part. just would like to merely highlight to him my points that I raised to him when discussing about PO4 removal and carbon usage. -
Diablo. Diablo. Diablo. bash horde bash horde bash horde.

alamak. I don't come in for a while to read the forum and all due to my exams, and this happens. how can chaos occur without me around! I like chaos. it makes me feel at home. weileong... don't bother about him lah. he's a guy who debated with me about carbon removing PO4 and NO3 and probably other ions I've never heard of and will never hear of as well. *I say probably. I wouldn't know. I don't like to assume.* as they say, we're all entitled to our own opinions. he's got his, you've got yours. not to say that yours is flawed lah, but flawness is a matter of perception from an individual *and to me it isn't flawed. * that being said, Ancelot, you really should review the words that you use. like what Justin said, be a bit more tact and diplomatic. helps you go a long long way. I respect you for having opinions and being willing to share them out, but you must do it diplomatically. my two cents. with GST.

Ancelot, I hope you read this. -
I highly doubt it's infared. more like wireless adapter. if you ask me, $65 for a wireless adapter is okay what. either that, or I got chopped for my 3COM one. ask the people installing your service for you, how is the information going to be shared with your computer. is it via a cable? or a wireless adapter. ask also if they are installing a router for you. if yes, then it's very easy from then on. (= and PS. go read up a bit on wireless terminology. I tell you if the thing crash, and the customer service starts spitting out wireless jargon, you'll go crazy.

please. fellow drivers. don't risk your neck and drive at the bus lane during bus lane operating hours. they are really intensifying patrols for bus lane. heck the one at Lorong Chuan *which in my humble opinion is a white elephant bus lane* sure to have a copper every other day there, booking people gleefully. just to jolt your minds a bit. Bus Lane Operating Hours are Monday to Friday 0730 - 0930 1630 - 1900 Saturday 0730 - 0930 1130 - 1400 I'm not too sure about the demerit points awarded, but I guess it's within the region of three to five demerit points. so please. be careful. -

I'm using ES100. I don't do hardcore racing or anything, heck I don't even speed good enough that even my mother actually notices and appreciates the better grip it offers during horrible weather. (= most importantly, check around for drivers who drive the same car as you and have the tyre that you are looking for. *rim size and tyre ratio alikeness will be a bonus*

yeap. correct. it is not a must. although it'd be nice. owning a Mercedez Benz is not a must. although the thought of owning one is nice. same logic.

elegance sting that deadly? either that, or do you have very sensitive skin? coz. I always touch my anemone with my fingers whilst feeding.

I think all clowns can do with an anemone for comfort. not only skunk.

I dunno because for mine, my host PC is connected via cable. sunny... you may want to check out with SCV as to setting host access. very important because you must access the page to do things like.....security setting for restricted MAC Access IDs, etc.
-
the SCV 512 one? ah. just get a wireless adapter for your PC/notebook/whatever peripheral you want to hook up. walk into any computer shop and ask for a wireless adapter for PC...they'd know what you're talking about. (= it shouldn't be that expensive. I got my 3COM one for around $130 about one year back. (= sure can find cheaper model/make somewhere else. I bought it from...Videopro I think.

at the end of the day, the numbers on the lens body doesn't change miraculously. like what roidan say, you just treat it as the lens has a x.x multiplier (fill in x yourself. mine would be 1.56) attached to the lens itself. and also, I do not recommend getting a camera, just because your kakis have it. this is because by doing so, you may actually compromise on selection criteria. ie, comfort of the camera. the thing when choosing SLRs/DSLRs/Medium Formats and above is 1) Comfort ---> too big a monster and it becomes troublesome, ain't it? 2) Features ---> make sure they don't have 1million features. pretty rare you'll use all of them. make sure it has the ones you really want to use 2) Cost ---> obvious one. no explaination needed 3) availability of other peripherals. which is why I dumped my old Minolta camera system to upgrade to a Canon. 4) consumption of battery power *especially true for battery pack users. Nikons with double As or something, not too troublesome* so yah. (= anyway. the most important thing is that you TRY the camera out by physically handling it. man handle it if possible. that's the only way to see if it fits you egronomically. (=
