to make a long story short, I'm selling off everything because I'll be gone from Singapore for a period of up to 5 years max, and I doubt my mother would be able to take care of the tank. and she doesn't want anybody else to touch it as well. which is why I want to sell it. let me lay down a couple of ground rules first. 1.) I have the final right to release the stock to whosoever I please. even though it is a first come first serve basis, but if I don't like you for any reason *maybe you tried to offer me a dirt cheap deal* I will not hesitate to take you off the priority list. 2.) Do not contact me by PM. I have a tendancy on not replying back. make your interest known on this thread, so that I can monitor the times of reply, thus making it more transparent. but Rule 1 still applies. 3.) Don't try to cousel me out of this as I did it after weeks of deliberation. it is a painful decision. 4.) For the Tangs that I'll be selling, please list down your tank dimensions and your other inhabitants in there. this is to make sure that my fat tangs go into another paradise, and not a concentration camp. 5.) Have a happy New Year. I'll start the list after this post. so be patient.

ryz...I copy mr brown one. I got indemnity. (= yes AT, there are many cases of unregistered deaths. and as the days go on, the threat of the aftershock lingers. one can only tell the true damage once everything has tide over *pun not intended.* for those people who want to donate, give money. the Red Cross needs urgent supplies of fresh drinking water as the water supplies in all affected areas have been contaminated as a result of the catastrophe. dry clothing and food are also essential items that they badly need. please contact the Red Cross for more information regarding donations. and I just found out my friend's sister almost got dragged out to sea in Phuket. luckily for her, she only lost her mobile phone, her passport and her wallet. she's in Krabi now, awaiting the Singapore Consulate to contact her regarding emergency evacuation flight details. drop your presents, say a prayer or two. -
Aquamedic one? the one with the dosing pump? I'm not an expert in this, but I doubt the flow is high enough to keep the media in suspension.

what is your budget? I may be selling my Teco RA680 due to decomissioning purposes.

you've been watching too many Armageddon shows lah. it's used as a well wish, be it for mourning or happiness. basically implies that God be with them. which is rather apt seeing the current situation. do refer to mr brown cheers. (= -
ask the info counter. I think it's near the hobby section, which in turn is near the kids section. you will stand a higher chance of getting American publications as Borders imports them directly from the US of A, as opposed to other bookstores who do their imports through local distributors.

don't need to be so offensive. I was just merely highlighting the difference and it's rather huge significance. that's like saying LKY and LHL are the same people. and as for mourning. if you'd noticed, I did say God speed to the victims on several of my post. my MSN nick has changed, and I even blogged substentially about it. if I could, I'll go there and help with rescue efforts. I already pledged my savings meant for a holiday to Europe to the rescue efforts. I'm not bragging here, but I'm in a state of mourning as well as one of my relatives did kenna in Penang. so please, don't teach your grandmother how to suck eggs. cheers. -

it's rather important actually. the difference between St Peter and St Petersburg is as different as a quarter pounder in the US and in Europe. *Pulp Fiction. hur hur* and yes. God speed to the victims and their families. -

how about biological weapons? capable of far reaching consequences. anyway, I just hope that the aftershocks that occur will not cause monster size tsunamis. -
where is Borders? it's at Liat Towers. opposite the shopping centre where Lido is. it's beside the old Planet Hollywood *now Zara* building. you can't miss it. huge glass dome by the side of the road. Liat Towers that is. Borders is inside Liat Towers. (= by the way, if there are no books that you want, ordering a book from Borders will incurr a $7 surcharge for delivery cost.

Blood Shrimp died right away after i brought it ho
terryansimon replied to zorden's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
I don't mean to boast. but. I've had two batches of Fire Shrimps from Marine Life. first batch, I did the acclimatisation process via dripping. second batch, I dumped it into the tank directly without acclimatising *don't crucify me.* both batches are still alive till today... henceforth, all my other shrimps that I purchased were just dumped in with minimal acclimatisation *only floating of bags to allow temperature to achieve equilibrium.* -

St Petersburg = a place in Russia St Peter = Gatekeeper of Heaven Pearly Gates = Gates of Heaven.......if I'm not mistaken. by the way, as of 1930hrs, 20,000 dead or missing and counting. -
first thing first, go see if you have spyware or adware. I recommend Lavasoft. www.lavasoft.com if the problem is not solved, you may have to manually go remove the program from the control panel, provided you know what the file is called.

death toll has climbed to 12,000. God speed to the victims. -
why don't you just email them directly. and then cut/paste the correspondence here for everybody to see?

use Safari! change to Mac! if only I had the money to afford the ###### new G5. ah wishful thinking.

I hope I'm not being rude by hijacking the thread.... but I've got a problem with my IE as well. the text on certain pages have become extremely small. like the mainpage of SGReef? the one with the two firefishes? now they look like it's on fontsize 8 or something. I know it has something to do with my encoding. but the encoding settings that show the fontsize in it's original glory would be the chinese encoding. but that would make certain texts come out with chinese characters instead. any idea to get around this?

I remember vaguely Cookiemonster telling me there isn't a need unless there's a leak. then again, I do have the tendancy to mix things up a bit. so better to get some confirmation. (=

toilet still cleaned by recruits lah. only in my unit, HQ company toilets outside the PSO offices are cleaned by external cleaners. maybe other places as well. don't fail everything. if not OOC, then you'll have to redo your BMT before you ORD. imagine, having recruit haircut on the day you take your pink IC. not fun.

I wouldn't say it's a waste of money. it may seem like a waste of money to normal people, but to me, a fevernt U2 supporter, it seems like money well spent. besides, we don't seem to get much U2 merchandise here. heck, we don't even get them stopping over to perform one of their "bring-down-the-house" concerts. maybe they should come over and aid in the demolishing/refurbishing of the National Stadium. mmm. Bono forever. (=

technically, if you don't pass IPPT or SOC during your BMT days, you do not POP. I repeat. you DO NOT POP. but if your reason for not passing it is due to medical problems or other problems *because you're too unfit to run, or because you CMI, etc etc*, then you can and still will be sent to a combat unit. maybe not as a combat soldier. but you're still required to do either your IPPT or SOC. although if you need to do SOC, you must be a combat soldier...so that one I don't know. I've got a few friends who didn't POP because they failed their IPPT. but they didn't go for any re-course. instead, the finished up their IPPT in the unit, and made sure they passed it. then no re-course was required from them. I hope I made sense. (=

gee. relax. I meant it in good spirit, hence the smilie. (= and oh. I didn't know you were referring to the red ones. that one means the amount of things you posted....or for my case, the amount of times I crapped *now now. not the same crap as in crapping your pants. but crapping as in. well. I dunno, horsing around?* (=
