little guy slowly recovered. started swimming more actively while in qt tank. den started eating, to the point it was jumping out of the water vertically to try to reach a pellet that was stuck on the underside of the glass cover. introduced him back to his girl in the display tank and all is well.
One thing which I think is a bit strange is that the left side of the bubble opens up, but the right side doesn't really open up. Any reason why its like this?
Looked great at 1.023. Decided to bump it up to 1.025 which I really regret now cos it isn't opening much even after a few days.
But it was a gradual increase from 1.023 to 1.024 then to 1.025. Prob within a span of 15 mins.
It looked terrible initially, I tot it started bleaching. But started to open up after one day. Few days since but it has not opened up as big as it did before I added more salt. Is it still in a state of shock? How do I get it to open up as big as before? But it has gotten greener after I added more salt.
I had a missing clown, and tot I would never see it again. But after some thinking realise that they are quite big and would take some time to completely waste away or be eaten. And I looked around and true enough its body inside a small cave with my pom pom crab. Probably dragged in earlier
clowns are quite big. hard to go totally missing when they die. found a dead one in my pom pom crab's cave some time back. they are probably lodged in some part of your rock
Including the one in ur avatar? Mine doesn't look too good. Have since thrown him into the qt tank. Colours faded and all. Just hope the female doesn't get it
What could be the reason. Was fine before I turned on the lights and woke the pair up. The female doing fine though, swimming and active. The male just stays close to the surface and looking very lethargic, even two hours after lights on
