how did ammonia get into the tank? a big coral died and caused a spike? or many fishes died? Protein skimmer cant remove ammonia. try polyfilter and change the carbon..might help..

i agree with u man! it also look like a carpet anemone to me.. but if really pink elephant ear..then i shld be rich eh... my AT is beginning to smell food more though still stubborn... and my other fishes are like luohan now...walk pass all will swim up towards me.. but still lose out to roidan's greedy fishes...

eat mantis shrimps? eeks...i not so daring to try.. i used hot water from my shower head to try and lure it out mah..but it got boiled deep in the rock crevices.. had to smash the LR open to ensure its dead.. after that then i smashed in flat before throwing it away.. documented the pics in my thread ah..the hideous creature.. greedy pig lah...went for a chunk of ML's receipe..thats how i know of its existence..
