just to add my 2 cents worth.. i am using a beckett 648 right now.. with an extremely high bioload considering my tank size....and i feed tons of food to my fishes everyday..twice or even thrice daily when i am free.. food includes..tons of Ml's receipe..cyclo and pellets.. my water turn milky and takes abt 15 minutes to clear up.. my tank has no DSB and is only 7 weeks old.. but my beckett has performed very well..keeping my no3 at 5ppm.. it was even at a low of 2.5ppm last week but i intensified the feeding this week in order to tempt my AT further to feed..with some success already.. i cant comment on the other skimmers like euroreef and BB...but i seriously think that a beckett is good enuff...with a high bioload and so much feeding..its at 5ppm...and i have never changed my water since day 1...all relying on the beckett to do the work...no DSB, no Refugium...

the food really pollutive man.. 3 days of feeding turned mt filter wool brownish black already... not to mention the shit that my 648 produces... total blackout in the collection tower... but it is effective against ick ....left the AT to battle it out with the SARS

today marks the 16th day.. still a newbie in the tank.. good idea...but it only just started to feed on henry's food.. my AT damn "gu-niang"....only eat on food thats is 1/20 the size of its mouth...even nori last time also like that.. the day it become more gung ho with food..then maybe i try coating...

heng since day 1 ah.. only the AT kenna ick.. the rest all nothing happen...maybe also partly helped by the garlic food loh.. at most 1 or 2 dots then disappear liao.. so its like a pokka dot fish among all the other fishes... seems to be having less liao after eating some food...hope it is on the way to full recovery liao...

yups.. heng it started to eat tiny bits of Ml's food already.. leave it to fate liao loh..
