  6. External Ballast Hung from Ceiling type 3 feet in length...i been using it on a 5 feet tank.. both 10KK bulbs as good as new....less than 50hrs clocked.. Warranty till December 2004 Bought at ard 1.5K i think.. Willing to listen to offers above 750.. Thanks..
  7. yo KSchew.. went thru the same thing as u some time back.....dun think its the water conditions of your tank lah...12.5no3 okie mah.....some senior reefers told me alr can keep sps.... maybe the source of the fish? the stress we cause? cos we keep checking on them to see if they are okie..to see if they feed.. for my current batch...i tried to minimize my movement ard the tank...only hr for 2 hrs of lights on.. othertimes..they are swimming with no one disturbing them at all.. still fighting ick....but sometimes its luck bah.. even the most established tangs can die of ick or other factors.. do let the tank "fallow" awhile loh.. hope my spelling correct...
  8. Heyo Lightning pal.. dun be too sad...it definitely hurts....but i am sure with your expertise...you will be able to bring your tank back to its glory days when you are back in Singapore.. things sometimes just occur...we cant do much..but i believe u can do a good job when you are back.. cheer up a little..
  9. yo roidan... my ABT also kenna a bit of fin rot....but cant do much..in my main tank liao....still eating like a pig..but fin rot + ick... dun know survival rates man.. all the best to yours in Q-tank..
  10. Seletar FArmway 1 if i am not wrong.. then look out on the left hand side after the taxi turns in... T** got a small sign indicating its name loh.. its after a rather large freshwater farm... PS: ask the taxi driver to drive up the slope..so no need to climb up yourself.. after purchasing..take a slow walk out to main road loh...feed mosquitoes along the way..
  11. thanks AP.. hope to see your tank soon.. always love to see other tanks..to learn more abt everything in reefing.. the 2 blackies...one went into my sump via the overflow box...safe and sound...no damage...its partner? i have no idea.. my Lieu Tang has been missing for 48 hrs....think my PBT stress it until it either died or so good in hiding...
  12. by right shld be 0ppm lah..but some of the reefers claim that new saltwater will contain no3..thats why i also kay poh to go test mine.. cos i have nitrate problems..also wondered if my salt was one contributing factor.. AT...coralife also 0ppm? then i might be tempted to switch for awhile...to save some money....
  13. Just to share with fellow reefers.. ME doesnt seem to contain NO3.. i just tested on my tapwater and freshly mixed ME saltwater...both shows same NO3 reading.. hope it helps...
  14. Hi Neokn it looks unique..thats why i bought it...though it can look better if the brown turns to red/pink.... in dreamland liao...
