i think maybe leak.. cos its a new chiller... keep u guys posted after the service guy pops by tomolo to check.. i can run the chiller for 2 hrs..and the supposedly chilled water is at most...tap water temperature.. impossible to chill any volume of water down to 25.. and to imagine if someone were to use this malfunctioning one with MH..

then something is wrong with mine.. i tested the chiller with no lights on in my tank.. and i felt the water output directly..not cold..just normal room temperature..

by the way...how long does it takes to chill the tank in you guys homes? with lights and wo lights?

i think its the thermostat.. it keeps fluctuuating for no reason...though my water was constant at a certain temperature... called the distributor liao..still awaiting their answer...

yups ekia.. i using it to pump back direct to the main tank..still kenna... try to adjust the pump to smaller flow..see how it goes..

hey guys...mine is quiet too... but it cuts in very often too... any recommendations? using a sicce extrema to return the chilled water to the main tank direct...

reminds me of the pasar malam scene.. a big generator..many sockets many wires running all around.. no wonder u need so many hrs to redo the wiring..

hey sugi.. the rio 32hf use 120W..8000 litres if no headloss.. very good...i using on my tank..no need tunze liao...cos i get sand storm even with grade 3 sand!! but make sure the overflow can handle the big volume flow...

whaha my 3x2x2.5...almost equal to 4x2x2.. okie lah..really can see the difference with more skimming...water clearer faster also partly due to higher flowrate... i have a noisy fountain in my room now.. but GF pipes good in what sense? i am sure the quality is there...wihtout doubt..but the exact difference?

whahaha i never once felt my beckett was giant..really tiny compared to those using double beckett or roidan's new skimmer.. but mine shld be able to function well....3 feet tank only....whhaha how i wish i can afford so many bartletts in my tank...real beauty.... hey i counted 16 roidan...i bet there are more.. cheers!!

any pumps to recommend if i wish to direct the chilled water back to main tank instead of the sump? i tried a JBJ 2000 litre pump but it will cut in and out very often..within 5 minutes... Tried using an Eheim 1262...dont know the outcome yet as still testing...
