PL or FL will do....since no corals.. but if u like the LR to be covered with coraline algae..then maybe T5... and get some fans perhaps?

hi typrobin.. my kiasu kiasi method good for upgrading of pumps...u can use bigger and stronger pumps anytime n not worry abt overflowing water in the main tank.. i am still battling with my resun chiller... managed to get it down to 27 but still kick in too often.. tried eveyrthing from tuning flowrate of pump to returning main tank/sump.. still losing...

i been using MArine Environment salt... those who plan to switch salts can try...almost no need dose Mg.. but kH seems a bit low at times..7-8 i used the Aquafarm or Aqua medic Mg supplement..that seems good too... just offering some alternatives...

i am using 156W of T5 for my 2.5ft tall tank...the bottom seems okie..but have not tested with any LPS there yet.. but i think zoos and other stuff shld be able to survive...

hmm... just to share some experience.. if u are using DSB...maybe its better to go for 2.5ft in height.. and for great landscape...got for 2.5ft in width too.. no offence pal...

shoelevy...i agree with u.. he dint get what i mean... when i mean the water not chilled...i really mean the water not chilled...i dun give a damn what the chiller thermostat show..as long as my water is chilled... the problem is that! the water is not chilled...i am not so dumb to rely on the thermostat alone.. i am using a thermometer to measure the water itself.. and the irony is: i am not using MH! hope it clarifies some issues... but gald that some reefers managed to cool down the water using this model..maybe just my luck...

ps: i wan the choco...if u ever wan to sell.. hope can keep it alive though its origin from that dreaded place..
