8th Sep 2004 2340 hrs.. was feeding henry's food to tempt my 2 skinny tangs to makan..guess who i saw.. a freaking mantis!! after 8 mths ...i still have mantis!! and to think my rocks were housed in 2 tubs for 3 weeks without feeding.. luckily..it was stoopid enuff to hide in a rock nearest to me.. the unfortunate thing...the rock was a support for another rock above..which was sitting my blastos! and my blastos were alr blooming..with no skeleton shown.. no choice..shifted the blasto away to another spot..and it shrank.. step 1: bring the rock and mantis to the toilet step 2: flush the rock with boiling hot water from my shower head.. as this Lr was a unique pc with many holes for corals placement step 3: found the idiot..semi dead...still moving its legs.. step 4: to soothe myself...smash the bloody &()&*(&)*(^)% with the rock... step 3: smash the rock into pcs as it dint bulge...

wow!! the xialan look still there.. whahah got the "dun cross my path" look.. glad it found a new tank to roam..it was stuck in my betta box for 3 weeks liao..

Heyo DB! congrats sia!! i dint realise your wife was pregnant while i was there...too mesmerised by the beautiful corals liao.. and the beautiful deco in the house.. when there is a chio coral tank ah...even chio bus i dun notice.. just like at scarab's place...my gf said his daughter very chio..i was focusing on the SPS only..and the fat tangs..

My personal experience with my 1/3Hp: 1/2 hrs to cool down with my T5 on.. then can rest for 1 hr - 1.5 hr before working.. i guess u guys can read the equipment off my signature below..so dun need to type...

it depends on your skimmer, your filtration and the type of fishes u intend to keep.. like for tangs...maybe 1 or 2 is the max cos they need space to swim..but most pple will keep more...but do use a powerful skimmer then.. maybe 6 small fishes and 1-2 small tangs? but tangs do grow big fast.. so do weigh your options...

the bioload seems very high i must say.. measured the nitrates and phos recently? shld get as high end as possible... work out a budget and get the best loh.. but a beckett really does wonders...but the bill is crazy i must admit..
