Wat I mean is many people do not dose trace elements solution into their tank beside they replenish them by doing frequent water change. If the water change is done using Distilled water, will these trace elements be eliminate by the distillation process? Apology if this is a dumb question. I'm quite an idiot to chemistry.

I totally agree on these. I was in Gold Coast Sea World last yr (See my dolphin) and has the opportunity to visit the "behind the scene" recently launch (I think). I personnally view these captive animals/fishes as sort of like spokesman for their species so that humans can understand them better. Hopefully with the new found knowledge, their wild species will benefit from them. As for performance, its part of fund raising and as long as they are not ill treated, I dun see why not. As for Sentosa dolphins, I had visited them once but personally I do not know if they are doing any research works on them beside performance. Just my 2 cents

They do have a similarity but the size and shape not exactly the same. The diagram that sketch the fish does shows that its could be a sun fish or mola mola tot. Maybe a mutant?

If you check Ean website, ATI retrofit will cost ard $300+ with tube. Do take note that two tube of 39w is only 78w. One MH is at least 150w. Thus you will need 4 T5 tube to acheive 150w. Most people compare price with consideration on wattage. I juz check the thread at X-Glare, a GIGA 150W TS will cost $570. I think the brand of the MH bulb does matters. (I'm not familar with MH)

The reason for suggesting skimmer is because there seems to be too much dieoff, imo. The skimmer will helps to remove dissove organic waste.

I was thinking of replacing it with one of my old ATI tube (got 2nd from reefer here). I wonder if Osram has 10000K tube?
