  7. Hi, Great to have you sharing your plans. Mind if I ask what is the "Oceans Motions Revolutions"? Are they something like Ocean Currents Wavemaker? Will the return rate be affected by oceans motions revolutions since there might be some restriction induced by them?
  8. Hi, This has been discussed a few times. You may want to do a search on keyword "backup", "UPS"? http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...&hl=backup&st=0 http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...24434&hl=backup http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...topic=18843&hl= Cheers JC
  9. Many thanks to Rumor for highlighting this article. Let's hope many will read it and reflect back on what they may have or may not have done throughout this hobby. Too me, this whole issue is down to Responsible Reefing. We can responsible to the LS we buy, to our family for support in this hobby, to the nature for its supply, etc I remember there will discussion on responsible reefing in the past. But in recent times, hardly see anyone mentioning that. JC

  14. All Angel have a high chance of niping on corals especially soft corals. However, as I have since many SPS tank having angel fish in them thus make me wonder what are the most commonly kept angel in a SPS tank. From my own research, Eibl's Angelfish and Bluefin Angelfish may be worth trying athough the latter is pretty rare here. Hmm... maybe I should start a poll instead....
  15. Hi SPS Guru, I'm considering adding a drawf angel into my tank which now is mainly a SPS tank with a cateye bubble, elegance and some Rics. I'll like to hear some comments and advice on what angel fish may be worth trying in such a setup. Thanks in advance.. JC

  18. Agree that MD40 definitely can drive the mini beckett. I've done a review on this mini beckett using a MD40 sometime back.
  19. Agree that your elbow is too high. Seems like you have enough space in ur sump, ever consider doing in-sump thus going away with the elbow for water exit? Else try lowing your exit pipe.
  20. I'm using 6 tubes for a tank height of not more than 2ft.
  21. Very cool! Its already not easy to pair two, u are able to have 3 living together. Cool!
