  15. U mean they selling Mccullochi in Thailand? What's the asking price? JC
  16. This is expected especially when lens are used. From the pix, It seems like u need 2 units to cover the full length. JC
  17. It is uncertain cos they nvr mention its average or peak. Even their website did not show this info. Cheers JC
  18. Found a spectrum chart from the chinese forum. Indeed, their blue is in the same range as other brand's royal blue. Average 448nm. If proven to be as good as it claims, Maxspect will be the next big thing in 2010! JC
  19. Not so sure if their blue spectrum spec is average or peak. From the pix, its very bluish. Royal blue with average spectrum at 450nm is much purplish. http://www.cmfish.com/bbs/viewthread.php?t...;extra=page%3D1 The other concern imo, is the overdriving. If we need to replace the LED very 30months, the benefits from using LED technology is cut by half. Cheers JC
  20. Some pix online show them using some huge LED. I wonder what is this LED. http://www.fish-street.com/maxspect_progra...category_id=126 JC
  21. If u "study" how chlorophyll photosynthesis, u will find that the wavelength of blue LED is not enough. Royal Blue wavelength is the closes match available in LED range. Cheers JC
  22. I wonder without Lens, what is the max degree possible for the LEDs. Most brands I know of are below 100degree viewable. If so, by using a lens of 120degree, isn't that reducing the intensity? Hmm.... JC
  23. For some reason, the white LED are not listed. JC
  24. Not able to find the spec sheet for "USA Semiled Chip". One thing for sure, a 3W LED giving 160lms is most probably overdrove. Not too sure if using Blue LED is the best mix. Most DIY done are using royal blue LED. Cheers JC
