you should do h2o changes bi-weekly and carbon change monthly. hw big are yr fish? there is a formula to stock yr tanks. could yr tank be overstocked?

yes..i heard that 1 guy cycled his marine tank in 1 week but you got to be careful with the water readings. Any recommendations which cultured bacteria is good? what did u use for yr fresh water tank?

will cycling processes accelerate if i were to introduce cultured bacteria? someone told me that the marc weiss coral vital is a good choice. pse advise...

tks sharkbait. the chiller has been running for hours. could it be a thermostat problem? any recommendations where i can repair the chiller if i need to replace the thermostat.

can someone advise me on what is wrong with my chiller...it's a teco RA200. I have set the temp at 26. After the thermostat starts chilling the tank, it won't stop after reaching 26 degrees. What could be the problem? The chiller can cool a tank to 25 degrees up to 300liters and my tank is 223 liters including the sump.

teflon glue??? never heard of that. Does it really need glueing? sounds like the item is quite flimsy

Hi, can I get some advise...I am currently running a 2' tank with UGF(abt 6mths old). I will be upgrading to a 2.5' tank with OFS & sump. Is it possible to shift my 2' tank's filter media to the 2.5' w/o cycling or do i have to cycle my tank with the 2' tank's exsisting water & filter media?
