Is it possible to keep Larvatus Butterfly alive ? Read it kinda difficult butterfly fish

This is really sad . Freeze it to find out the cause of death? could it be due to compression problem on aircraft? luggage holding area air pressure is not similiar to cabin air.

Bro Lemon It agreeable that ethics should be view in a larger way. Very much like the dolphin issues are RWS. Are they or they are not into conservation? No human beings is perfect but can i ask what if the so mentioned push cart is one of the sponsor in this forum. Will this so call "friendly" debate thread be still around? Although there is no name of the push cart mentioned but its very obvious where and who they are. If in future, i encounter such happenings and they happen to be one of the sponsors can i say "oh that fish shop in lavender road, or that fish shop beside QianHu and we have people "flaming" and "healthy" discussion on it? Not trying to be ###### here but there seriously a need to know what we can, cannot do on this forum and how transparent the discussion can be.

I'll just make it simple here. Is what the push cart and thomson plaza doing: 1. Illegal 2. Unethical. if its 1, there is no basis for argument as they operate as a legal business. No one have the right to close them down based on what they are doing. Just like the so call slim, maintenance free aquarium. remember? If its 2, then all of us are unethical in catching wild marine fishes and confine them in our home. There are also many LFS here in Singapore. Irregardless, if they are Sponsors or not in this forum are unethical. If can flame the push cart cos it is unethical and claim that we in this forum are ethical, fair and passionate. Then something is seriously not right in this forum. Lemon, I understand where you coming from and how passionate, helpful you always been. Unless, this forum operate on a non-profit platform, no need for sponsors and we can go to the extend of listing dishonest, unethical LFS both sponsors and non-sponsors. It better for us to close this thread.

Its understandable, as end of the day LFS need to make money and the forum need their support and its also not right to lecture how they should run their business. i've no relation to the push cart LFS mentioned on this thread but i think its is not fair that they should be listed so openly and condemned on this forum. They are also running a business just like the sponsors LFS in this forum. Imagine, if they are one of the sponsor on this forum. Can we condemn them so openly all for the sake of - "proper transfer of knowledge is established and strong ethinical practices are uphold within this hobby"? If its really so serious, call in the press and SPCA. I'm sure they be glad to do something about it.

Luckily, consulted an experience bro and was told otherwise.

please advise what kind of media you be mixing together. It is best not to as each media have their own like span. You can connect 2 FR together using the same pump. Place the most "heavy" media i.e. PO4 media follow by the lighter media i.e carbon.

Bro comycus I truly understand where you coming from but sometimes sharing brands can be quite sensitive as well because what if 1 of sponsors here is the main or sole distributor for that particular brand?

I guess it's only okay to share the basic feedback in this forum, but not directly at any particular LFS. What if the LFS mentioned is one of the sponsor here? And as this site need sponsors to be sustainable, won't this would make things "not so nice" for the moderators? As much as I would like to share the infos and add value to nebwies but just like any businesses i'm sure there will always be supporters and detractors for each and every LFS. Perhaps some would even go to the extend to rally fellow reefers to be "key board heros" for them. As such, is there fairness? it will only end up as another never ending story episode. My purpose here is not to reveal or pin point the LFS that did this kind of silly business tactics to me just to earn that extra few bucks. But to let reefers know there are such LFS around, gather opinions and hopefully the LFS in town will be more aware that reefers know such incidents are happening. Having been in LFS industry long doesn't means the LFS is trustworthy. Just need to see and buy with "eyes open"

Like wise, I'm okay if the LFS have standard and standard premium prices. Just be honest and upfront about it. It's okay to mark up for unique, special and stable stocks but not when before mentioned all prices were the same and upon sensing that I like a particular piece made me carrot headed. To bros who PM and ask for the LFS name. Sorry, I'm ethical enough not to stoop so low as the LFS ower to carrot head, name and shame the LFS. All I can say is its a very long time and experience LFS The truth is out there
