  1. you can try add RowaBac M. some senior recommended me this but its no really a must. cos once the tank matured. the LR and sand will have enough bacteria to sustain the whole biological system.

  7. clearing my storeroom and came across some used fan in good working condition for sale. used for about 2 weeks with the screws cap slight rust otherwise working well. see attached pix.
  8. think the dirty sand could be due to high po4. you might wan to get a sand drifting star or sand dollar to help stir and clean up the sand. hk damn shiok. fish market and tung choi street got lotsa shops. enjoy!

  10. hi dude think like humans. sometimes it do really depend on luck if the fish will be "guai". every fish will behave differently is every tank.

  20. hi would like to know if UV light is really useful in killing water borne parasite? doe it get rid of the darn itch parasite and will it harm the useful bacteria in the tank as well? thanks.
  21. funny part is all eating like pig and swimming around. just tat some white spots appear only during night time. there's mentioned of using UV light to treat water. how effective is it? read that using UV will kill those good bacteria as well. any ideas?

  23. impossible. the light is on even in day time. i can even detect a change of 5% less magenta in ink pigment much lesser light shades. LOL
  24. i notice that the white spots tend or only appear at night on the fish. during day time the fish seems perfectly fine no white spots on the body at all. any theory for this?
  25. is there nothing we can do to get rid of the itch with the fish inside the tank? quite strange with such great advancement in science, there still no solution....
