hi bro 2 weeks is too long, i usually clean mine after a week. filter socks are very fine in microns so will trap the dirts and got clog easily. if you are using the felt materials socks, wash and soak in water and bleach over night. wash away the bleach and sun dry it. best to get a few socks so you can rotate while the ones are out in the sun. HTH

although it is just 2 feet its also too cramp and confined them in fiber glass tub or 5 feet tank. indochine, ###### restaurant at wisma also didn't managed to keep the sharks alive for long in confined tank and they gave them up within less then a year.

for those keen on trying out ventilation fans can go to kelantan lane. i got mine from this shop call sam huat & co block 31, kelantan lane, #01-32 they specialized in commercial ventilation fans of all sizes. i feel its more economical and long lasting as its for commercial usage. HTH

not trying to be a wet blanket. this forum is about responsible reefing and i believed keeping sharks of any kind in a home tank is definitely a no go. unless, one's is staying in extremely large bunglow with a super huge underwater world like tank or large marine pond.

there definitly be glue/sticker stain but it can easily remove by goo gone. can find it in home fix or any good DIT store. HTH

hi IndyM, sorry to hear the demise of your interruptus too so you are the person uncle said he holding the fish for. was surprised to hear about the conditions the WI is in too cos apparently was told they were reserved and sold. this always the issues with new shipment fish. fast come fast go. for my case, i try to get the fish from fellow reefers here or wait till bout 2 weeks when the shipment is in, if fish still around properly higher chances of surving. but usually all be gone by then ...

the WI will also look damn nice inside the new show tank they currently building. maybe they should do it.

uncle is the boss so what he said must be true if not he will lose money by bringing them in. not very common fish so nice to see them in real live in 3D lol

bro can just pack inside air flask no need oxygen? scary.... water spill luggage gone...
