Its better to buy them after quarantine period and u can get them to do a test feed for u. As for prices, lck110 corals r cities certified and tat may explain y the higher in pricing.

Calcium Reactors are pretty simple to build, and the concept is easy so any needed modifications are easy to do as well. The idea is to create an area of low pH (6.5 -6.6) and circulate water through aragonite in this area. CO2 canisters and regulators can be be bought easily. One that will regulate smaller pressures works best. A check valve is put between the C02 regulator and the "t" in the water line. The input comes from the tank or sump and is mixed with co2 and then enters the reactor. By placing the input next to the intake of the powerhead, it gets sucked into it and forced to the bottom of the reactor. The powerhead keeps water circulating in the reactor. It doesn't require a big one. A very small amount of water moves between the tank and the reactor, so it works best with another "t" placed in the output of your pump. You will also need a valve between the " t" in the water line and the "t" where the co2 comes in so you can adjust the flow. All this is done with clear airline tubing so that you can count the bubbles of co2. A bubble every second or so is a good start. The rate of flow through the reactor should me around 1 ml per 2 second to start and adjust from there. After you have it going at the above rate you will need to monitor it closely to get it adjusted properly. Good circulation in the sump will help any excess co2 from lowering you pH but you should watch it. A pH monitor is almost a must. Keep track of you calcium and alkalinity. If the ca, or alk levels drop ,increase the flow through it a little. Then adjust the pH in you reactor to keep it around 6.6, if you get your pH to low in your reactor it will be milky coming out and turn your aquarium milky

Guard duty and nxt day trg is common especially there r trg program u can't miss. In camp or one day trg still not so bad....my OC "love" me so much tat he get the RSM to ferry me to LCK for Live firing exercise follow by company exercise ... Not forgettin the so called laksa...soup nt hot but warm with raw tao gay and rubberband noodle. If soup is boiling hot, then everythin won't taste so bad.

Dun worry too much, BMT nowadays very lax. Once u enter tekong u will be like "wah" macham holiday chalets. The best part is tat u can bring handphone so tat u can spill ur "pain and sorrows" to ur closed ones during the nite. How i envy , i was totally cut off frm the outside world otherelse than the usual saturady book out. For 6 months, no handphone, pager and no use of public phone. If i recalled, only get to use the public phone once to arrange for parent visiting and tats it, even canteen break only been there like less than 3 times only. For no.2...ur main tank water volume will have to be "tat low" tat when ur cannister fail. All the remaining water in the sump pumping back up into ur main tank will only reaches a max height in ur tank and will not overflow. Do some calculation, it will work but look very ugly with a 70-75% filled tank. Imagine ur main tank now is 150L and ur new sump is going to be 20L. U have to remove 20L from the present main tank to allow for room of mistake so tat ur total volume is still 150L. Else 150+20 = 170 in main tank = overflow. Nxt is what will happen when ur sump runs dry and ur return pump still running? = Hot = fire hazard! As for no.3, as long the water removed from main tank into sump is below the sump max volume then its ok. Headache huh

Take these scenario into consideration 1. Return pump fail.> Sump flood 2. Cannister fail.> Main tank overflow 3. General power failure. Main tank water level drop to the bottom of cannister intake pipe in the main tank and sump will flood. (Apply only if cannister is capable of siphoning effect). U must find means to counter the above.
