this i agree, back in 2002 with all those hugh shipements, i remember the shop just below farm mart, have long stretches of maxima's in various colours and large sizes and all costing around 30-60 dollars...*sighs*
those were the good old days.
My 2 cents on the best way to rid this aglae is to get a good workable skimmer,
it'll reduce the protein in take when u excessively feed so in turn changing the whole cycle to keep the tank cleaner and don't have to worry abt having this problem ever again.
when i used to have my 2 feet, the my Prism did a good job of reducing these.
actually i don't think it's a snowflake, snowflakes are alot slender, this one i think some kind of fish species la, not eel i think la, saw a few at ML, so can check with Henry.
i've seen them both in a 4ft tank alot of our brudders here... but u really to establish some space for both and it'll be better if u can similatiously introduce them into the tank
