Tengok sapa yang baru masuk tu.....dah buat kecoh kat forum ni dan yang lain nanti kat ni thread pun buat kecoh jugak.

Habis..............troublemaker dah masuk...........

Mana gua ada cakap suruh pecahkan? Gua punya tank yang bocor lah..... Ataupun offer free lah kat Bazaar section. Pasal duit kopi, tanya tu pekerja bangla berapa dia mahu lepas tu negotiate lah tapi gua agak 6 orang cukup.
-
Ala nyah, lu duduk bawah blok tunggu kalau2 ada pekerja bangla dalam 6 orang. Tolak duit kopi suruh angkat letak bawah blok sudah. Nanti talipon Town Council suruh angkat. Gua punya 3ft planted tank dulu gua buat macam tu bila tu tank bocor. Panggil pekerja bangla suruh angkat letak bawah blok, tolak duit kopi semua beres.....!

On a particular CR, there's this valve built in whereby if there's too much co2, the valve just pop out.

Live Vs Artifical feeding – commercial implications of harvesting parent coral colonies leading to preference of culturing from larvae. Key reported to be rapid growth in 1st month – artificial food used – golden pearls(50um), live food – artemia – tested on Pocillopora damicornis – 3 treatments control, live and artificial – 3 reps of each, experiment done 6 times – Equal food to each group (not control) 0.55g of GP = 0.5 g of pre hatched artemia – Results: o Live food showed increased growth over control o Artificial did not o More algae with GPs o Still 80% survival for GP and control o 100% survival for artemia group – Conclusions: o GPs only buoyant for < 1hr – lack of bioavailabilty o Higher nutrient load in GPs group (evident by algae) may have suppressed growth o Corals will continuously feed if food is available – important aquaculture point. Nota pasal lampu..... Sanjay Joshi: Understanding Lighting Technology and Implications for Reef Keeping As usual – great presentation. Reiterated that there is no “best†bulb/ballast/reflector combination. Output, needs, tank dimensions and aesthetic objectives all play into the decision. Sanjay has set out to answer the following questions instead: - What light levels and distribution can I expect for a given lighting arrangement? - What are the differences between comparable set ups? Gave a good review of lighting including energy Vs wavelength plots and how these relate to photons. All his data is now searchable on www.reeflightinginfo.arvixe.com Discussed metal halides and confirmation that over life of bulb there IS a shift in spectrum – typically to the red end of the spectrum. Data does suggest that most MH bulbs are perfectly usable for as much as 2 years giving allowance for some slight spectral drift. Be aware however that with some combinations the power draw may go up significantly on older bulbs e.g. 400W bulbs drawing as much as 650W of power. Interesting that data to date indicates that same increases may not occur with electronic ballasts. Sanjay currently using Geissman 14K 400W bulbs with icecap electronic ballasts and no supplemental fluorescents. T5’s run best at 30C – outside of this temp performance drops are to be expected. LED’s – just another light source – no reason why they can’t provide to the needs of corals. Currently Sanjay concludes that LEDs are up there with T5 lights. Projection is that they will eventually out perform MHs. At end of day objective is to be able to generate 100uMol PAR at bottom of tank. Doing so will allow you to keep most hermatypic SPS corals Baca dan digest pelan2.....

I have 1 in the house just beside the tank in the hall but the fan is blowing the warm air out toward the door. Before using this, I was using a CL650 for my 4x2x2. The Cl650 gave out more heat than the larger Starmex. Noise wise is more quieter than the 650. It took only 20 minute to cool down from 26 degree to 25 degree with 6x54w of T5 HO lightset. And it rest for 2hr. If money is tight, get the copper ones but if you have the budget then titanium is your choice. But 1 very important thing to take note of is that once installed, nothing can be moved, be it the compressor, the piping and the coil. So you must plan for the path that the copper pipe need to be installed.

Ni ada thread pasal T5. Bacalah..... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...hreadid=1220131

Tank setup for SALE - excluding live stock
BFG replied to danano's topic in Sell off/Pasar Malam Shop
Bro Danano, you quitting? -
Gua alright bro.
-
It might be safer to get 1 size up. There might be weeks where our climate might be horribly hot.....

Apa nak buat, dah bayar dan dah pasang. 2.2k dengan 20 atau 30m coil tak salah. Terpaksa tangkap at that point of time pasal CL650 aku dah rosak! Titanium dia punya part patah habis semua refrigerant terkeluar! Lagi 6 hari baru aku pegi cuti!
-
Tu minggu leading ke Hari Raya gua dapat cuti tapi lepas tu minggu kena keje. Tadi pun ingat nak ke Vivocity pegi tanya pasal compressor tapi ada saudara meninggal jadi plan cancelled.
-
Datang hari pertama ke kedua?
-
-
Abnormal, wa punya run 20 min lepas tu relax 2 jam, kalau hujan lagi lama dia relax. Gua set temp kat 25 degree, no problem. Amacam mahu try.......
-
Hammer.
-
Betul2 champion lah Hang Skylian kita ni, pasang Tunze pagi buta. Aku agak kalau dia ada BK, sampai pagi masih godeh setting skimmer tu.....
-
Hai Barnacle, apa lah nasib kau dapat kawan macam ni huh?
-
Mini Bubble King lah.....tak payah pakai feed pump lagi.

Anyone can recommend a return Pump with low watts
BFG replied to klim's topic in General Reefkeeping_
Yup, no choice but to save some money for a good low wattage pump. That's what I did, switch from 2x1260 to a 8m3. The 8m3 uses less than the 2x1260 and push nearly double what the 2x1260 could. Don't think about when you could see the return in saving for buying something expensive, the important thing is monthly bill MUST be low in order to enjoy this hobby. It is afterall a hobby and you need to spend as little every month so that it won't be a cause of a burden. -
Achi, lu standby bawah pokok.....mendung nanti kena sambar petir........dah kurang satu member kat .....RETURN OF MALAY REEFER.....punya thread. Sudahlah, pegi rehat kat rumah dan surf kat ni thread. Ikan gua tak seberapa, Tang pun takde, semua murah2, senang nak dapat kat kedai punya.
