  1. It's like monkey see, monkey do scenario. They see someone else or friends who have a dog, they also follow purchasing one. Later at home when the animal is not toilet trained or bark non-stop, they started hitting at them or worse keep in the store or something. When it smell too bad, they dumped them.

Maybe connect the output from the chiller to this equipment. It could spread the cold water thus cooling the water faster. Will one of the sponsor bring it in?
  3. Pity your friend. There's other lfs in SG.
  4. oops, sorry! Skimmer from RM. 8 inch width height 25 inch.
  5. Selling 1 unit new Beckett skimmer only. Not used yet. Bought at $450, nearest offer secured.
  6. FishnChips, can you tell me what you dose for that tank and what you use to feed the tank inhabitant ?
  7. What's the size of the skimmer compartment? Do you think a Deltec AP850 can fit in it?
  8. Hey AT, why not invite them here?

  10. alamak, macam gini susah lah aku nak tangkap coral yang lawa-lawa. boleh recommend kedai mana kau orang selalu pegi?
  11. How much is 600RMB? is the electricity rating in China the same as SG? Might be interested.
  12. Maybe can 'pester' some of the sponsor to bring in this chiller?
  13. Hope this will reach SG. http://www.aqugrass.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=61148
  14. I have the same idea. I am going to use a brand new external canister filter from Eden. Just google for Eden 501 filter. It's nearly transparent. It also has a sponge to prevent unwanted debris from clogging the impeller. But after using chaetomorpha, do we still need to do regular water change or can we lessen the water change or stretch it?
  15. Nature Aquarium has 2 types, the Dymax ones and the new brand in town, Solite.
  16. Guys, would using chaetomorpha be enough for nutrient export for a nano tank?
  17. I have experience it too with my freshwater shrimp tank. There is a fat lizard as proof of my dwindling number of shrimp. Even saw it near the surface skimmer, waiting for some shrimp to feed on the algae there. My mom was the 1st to witness it.
  18. One of the sponsor Reef Depot has it. If you are going to set a closed loop, it must draw water from the main tank and then pump it back into the main tank. This is what a closed loop is. If there is a power failure, the water will only stop flowing in the main tank. The intake MUST have a strainer so no live stock may not wander into the intake. I went for the Dart pump because of the flow and the wattage ( electricity consumption ).
  19. No problem to the design. Just that I was 'hook' by the new Icecap Vortech Pump. The Reeflo Sequence Dart pump already has a buyer.
  20. Well, for my design ( out the window already ) I had planned for 2 x1.5inch intake from the back glass. These 2 intake will be connected to a Reeflo Sequence Dart pump. From the Dart pump, it will go through a 1inch pvc up the height of the tank and split to 4 outlet near each corner of the tank. I already purchase the Reeflo Dart pump but had to shelf the plan for something else.
  21. There's a myth about the 'SunFish'. It is said that a bullet can't penetrate some part of it's body. Dunno true or not.
