Ok apa. Tak macam tank aku, sejak aku jatuh kat tempat kerja kena diagnosed slip disc, tank ada 2 3 coral aje. Banyak mati pasal aku tak dapat jaga. Rabak dia punya pedih, 2 minggu lepas kena lagi relapse, duduk kat hospital 4 hari, tak leh jalan.

Their spawning time will be before lights off. They need time to get accustomed to each other 1st. Pump them with food like mysid shrimp.

Welcoming or not, I believe it's up to the newbie to do research 1st even before starting the hobby. Seeing threads of problems with their impatient-ness and refusal to listen or co-operate really puts me off sticking my head in the newbie section. Don't want to do the research, go into the hobby with blindfold and when problem occurs, join the forum. Sometimes when I surf around, I encounter similar threads on different forum. The worst part is they tried to skim funds on their set up, believing that they could achieve success than what others had done but usually they always crash. 'You got to pay to play' is the motto of this hobby.

Yes, I do have 2 x 6100 on the main tank at 3/4 power pushing water.

Looks like an over priced fan. A normal computer fan could do the job and cost less.

I can only speak from my experience. Too powerful a return pump and the skimmer will clean only a part of the water it could pull.

There is a saying in the marine hobby, " You gotta pay to play".

Look at you skimmer pump rating. Of course you'll need wave maker, you cannot depend on return pump to be a wave maker as the water movement from the 2 equipment produce different result. I once had a Red Dragon 8 2m3 pump and a APF600 skimmer with a 1250 feed pump. Result was display tank full of algae while the skimmer produce kopi o skim mate. Since the Red dragon pump broke down, replace it with a 1262 return pump and change skimmer to BK SM250, skim mate very muddy and algae growth had lessen very much. Tank size 4x2x2. This is my experience, you need to know where to put more money in your equipment.

For me, choose a pump that match your skimmer pump. If pump too strong, the skimmer wouldn't catch all the water that is needed to be cleaned. The uncleaned water goes back to the main tank where algae will have a chance to consume.

I think you mistaken it with aluminium. Titanium are tough metal.
