Water flow from a higher area downward. One compartment would still be slightly higher than the other. The pump compartment water level would be lower than the rest due to the fact that when the pump is off, water would still flow into the sump due to siphon effect and the extra space would accommodate the extra water from the display tank. Or you could ask the tank owner to demonstrate this effect by switching off the return pump.

ADA do sell tank for marine usage, comes with overflow. Sump wise, I've forgotten but I think have too!

What was the cause of the complaint, earth movement, noise of the construction, no permit?

The ' display tank to chiller and back to display tank ' might be due to reefer not using sump but with overflow filtration system in the display tank. If using a sump and doing the above, kinda waste electricity as the operation of 2 pump would increase the electricity cost.

Has the structure been certified to hold that much water xnsdvd? It might push the earth underneath and create some movement which might affect the house structure or the neighbour. Just thinking of safety.

Why no one is mentioning dosing either sugar, vinegar or vodka to control phosphate and nitrate? Cheaper with less equipment used.

Uv best to place it going into chiller. 100% of water will go through it. The chilled water should go to the display tank. Or connect it into the plumbing from your display tank to your sump, another 100% of water flow through this line. Efficiency.

Berita sedih, bartlett aku beli 6 ekor tinggal 1 aje. Aku ada suspect budak2 datang tengok tank tepok kat gelas ah. Sakit siak, gelas tank banyak palm print. Cari punya cari ikan takde. Overflow kosong, kat atas tank pun takde mayat ikan. Satu hari tadi duduk depan tank cari ni 5 ekor. Haiz, nasib badan.

The ones I received are usually medium to large. I have been lucky to received a juvenile yellow tilefish before, still swimming in my tank together with a larger sized yellow tilefish.

I think most of the lfs are accommodating if the request are reasonable and that you follow up for your purchases. What lfs do not like is when you order something but do not turn up to collect, is akin to sabo, hurt their sales quota.......

External temperature sensor ambil water temperature dari dalam sump. Cara begini bagus pasal kau dapat actual temperature dari air tank berbanding dari water compartment chiller kau. Ambil temperature air dari dalam chiller water compartment ada masalah sikit, kalau water flow rendah, air dalam chiller water compartment akan sejuk dulu sampai chiller off tapi air yang baru masuk tak sejuk betul jadi chiller hidup balik. Kau nak kena aim at least 25 minit on, 2 jam off untuk chiller. Aku pakai compressor jadi chiller aku on 20 minit dari 27 degree © sampai 26 degree©, chiller mati selama 2 jam 15 minit. Kalau hujan lebat, chiller mati 3 jam, lagi jimat elektrik. External temperature sensor nak kena panggil pakar pasang. Atau google kat interweb. Aku punya technician compressor aku pasangkan.

John Deroe Kennedy, masalah chiller kau, letak kat luar cabinet sudah. Chiller kau under powered. Resun cl650 untuk tank 3ft. 4ft tank pakai cl500. Jangan lupa modify chiller letak external temperature sensor, lagi efficient. Beli chiller biar satu size lebih besar dari yang perlu. Singapura cuaca panas, extra powered chiller boleh tolong sejukkan air tanpa perlu bekerja keras.

Mana ada Mazarra G2? Tu Maxspect G2. Maxspect Mazarra baru keluar tahun lepas, belum ada 2nd generation. Kalau boleh elak beli lampu led 2nd hand. Semua lampu apa jenis akan degrade bila di pakai jadi life span 2nd hand lampu tak berbaloi kalau difikirkan. Ini cuma pandangan aku. Nak ikut atau tidak, hal kau, kau yang tanggung nanti time nak tukar bulb.
