Yep, that is a good controller with very good functionality and software.... (reading from the neptune site - i don't really have experience running one of that... ) I am thinking DIY as it is more challenging and satisfying. It may not work out but i am more of a hands-on guy, will be going in slowly and learn along the way.... Cheers...

I dont think this one need low level firmware programming......but if you have skills that can help in the project and willing to contribute, do let the site owner know and they will need all the help they can get to make this project work....

I am not there yet lar....now waiting for some sample chips to start the hardware part....
