  2. nice, the funny leather coral look like sps with very healthy poly extention.
  3. Yup the clarkii and saddleback take the left and right, only perc dun have a place, they will just swim around. Wow that is cool. maybe will pm him for the method. I see, hee u have give me the courage to remove all the rock and catch the fish. Btw bro u r keep a fishless tank correct? Is it good for the SPS? I mean if it is good then when I am removing the rock maybe can catch all. lol.
  4. Yup this is what I fear also, so I seeing if anyone done that before. All the 3 pair been with me close to a years, clarkii and saddleback around 3inch and perc around 2 inch. Actually they do chase each other once in a while but not a big issue. Actually the resting place for my blenny is in between the rock so quite hard to catch it out. Sian. The easiest should be to remove everything and catch then put it back. But I scared the water parameter will be disturb and the sps go up the lorry.
  5. Possible to use a small piece of glass to block the underflow compartment and fix it inplace with silicon on all the 4 side of the glass.
  6. Yup all the frag is glue onto the rock but the blenny like to force in between frag or rest on it, causing them to fall off. Sian.
  7. Hi guy, I have a aglae blenny fish that is moving like a tank and knock down a lot of my frag. I tried to catch or trap it but it dun fall for it. Thinking of removing all the rock and coral in my tank, catch the fish then put back all the rock. I have mostly zoa and SPS, will the SPS be affected by this move? Anyone done that before?

Please dun just drop the shrimp and let it drop to the bottom... It will be food for the fishes... The correct procedure is to release it on the rockscape..

  15. Yup I think it is normal, no harm. I think maybe coral tend to slime a bit and when the top up is pour in, the powder inside will be stick to the slime, which become more visible to us. As long as the flow is good it will go away after few hours. It is a top up so no need to top with DI water before use, for my case I pouring direct into the main tank.
  16. I think Aquafauna Supplies sell foam also, if I am not wrong, maybe can check with them.
  17. 1)There should be a valve at the return pipe from the overflow, try to tune it so that the water lvl in the overflow is higher and this will greatly reduce the noise. 2)Dun think the cabinet will give way, what is the material of the cabinet? For the rusting of hinges, u can print over it or change every year, quite hard to stop rusting. 3)Get a clip on fan, it should work better then computer fan, but u will need to top up DI water more often, as evapouration will increase.
