1 thing to take note is the author has very big tank so this method may work. Imagine 1 normal red plastic pail of high nutrient water pour into a 100 gal or 400 gal tank will make a great different.

Ya i thought this time round i bought the super big one the clown will not be able to eat it as my clown only around 3 inch plus. But the clown bite the shrimp tail and pull it out to the open, the rest thought is food so they join in to feast.

Hmmm actually I release them onto the rock and they quick went into hiding, but a min later the super big blood shrimp is in my clown mouth and tear to pieces by the rest of the fishes. Sad.

Hmmm not so bad la, Just that maybe the colour will be off a bit due to shipment. GO is known for their premium coral so most of their coral are healthy. If all SPS wait for a month or weeks to buy then there will be no one chiong during shipment day liao.

Hmmm is it at high flow area? I think gornio will extent more in low flow area.

Hi bro, I think if u can keep birdnest and monti then your water parameter should be more or less ok. Should be able to try other kind of SPS like milli,...etc. I feel keeping them not so diffcult maintain the colour is the difficult part. Like my tank can maintain most of the blue and purple SPS but come to red then cannot liao. Cedric place is a good place to go also. His frag all very stable and at best colour already, easier to start and maintain.

I think it is possible, just get a ready make overflow and sump, fix up the piping and it should be good to go. I think 450 should be with overflow.

Hmmm is the hairy crab feeding on your SPS now? Cause I have one in my tank also, initially I am like u trying to catch it out, but fail. Then I look at my SPS nope is harm and I see the hairy crab feeding on aglae most of the time, so I just leave it. So may be u can observe for a few more day. cheer.
