Hi bro, I am not sure whether this is the correct way, but u can try to set the ph to be 6.5. test the CA lvl before the CR kick in and after the CR stopped running, if the lvl of CA is with in the range then it should be good. If not then u will need adjust the ph again either up or down. I think for CR there is a way to control the KH also,but need to wait for other more exp bro to input their advice. KH is a lot more important then CA when u are talking about SPS, so KH must always get it right. Cheer. =)

Hmmm what u use to dip your zoa? If they r Zoa eating Nudibranch, then coralrx will be useful. For zoa, actually they r quite hardy, so even if u dip your zoa under DI water they should be fine. For prevention u can add 6 line wrasse or yellow wrasse.

Very nice grow, never see much fishes, maybe the nutrients super low. So the colour of the SPS is pastel.

Dispar is not really difficult but not as easy as barlett. Just continue to feed them a few time a day and they might start feeding after a few day. Btw barlett are quite fierce and they might chase after the dispar which might be the reason why they are not feeding.

Yup it is good to take out the skimmer pump to clean up every 6 mth, for collection cup is up to individual, some wash every 3-4days.

Interesting now there are more thing to take note when doing maintainance.

I bet a lot of reefer will sometime find that how come last time my skimmer skim so much now dun skim much? Is it because my tank have mature and it has found it own balance so there is nothing to skim? This is what I thought also until recently I found that how come no matter how I tune my skimmer air tube the water volume don't go up. My feeder pump is choke with very small tube worm so the flow rate into my skimmer is greatly reduce. I clear the choking stuffing and the feeder pump start working normally and I get my thick skim back. For people whose skimmer dun skim much maybe can check whether the feeder pump is choke. 2 x 150w mh is sufficient for keeping SPS, just place then on the top potion of your tank. =)
