Hi bro, your tank look super clean and the colouration of the SPS is For glue, I think for big tank like your, votech coral glue from iwarna or madpetz will be more suitable and cheaper in the long run. The glue work actually like bsi gel but as it is in a plastic container, it do not break easily and dry up. 1 problem I find with bsi gel is after use a few time, due to squeeze and twisting motion, it tend to break and leak from the back and after that dry up.

Hi sis from your picture the chiller should be outside, need to take note has to leave a 1ft clearance behind the chiller for optimum performance. =)

As u all can see, only the rock on the left is coloured, the rest is all very white, cause the one on the left is the only piece of liverock I keep from my previous scaping. I have once again bring up the rock to a higher scape as I feel that the SPS will have a better colour when it is higher especially the red, purple and blue.

Dun worry, most likely it is hidding in a safe place from all the big fishes, give it sometime and it will come out after a while. =)

Hi jane, is the golden in a beta box or in the main tank already? For these kind of super difficult to feed fish, I think it is better to release it into the main tank and let them peck around, at least they will find their own food and not so stress, after sometime they will see what the rest of the fishes is doing and follow also. This is what I do to my regal and pottery angel, the regal start feeding on pellet after 6mth, the recently bought pottery is not feeding but it is pecking around and getting fatter also, I think in a matter of time it will feed to feed also. Hopefully.

Hmmm how about 2 weeks later instead, cause I think I have upset the whole system by changing the rock, dun want to add further stress to the SPS by fraging it.

Close to 80%, only left with 1 big rock, the rest all change.

After the mini crash, most of my rock is filled with bubble and hair algae, so this morning when over to iwarna and ah beng and get about 20kg of rock to replace my existing rock. Spend 3 hrs rescaping and glue all the sps and zoa. Now I am very happy with my tank without all the unsightly algae. The new scape also allow more flow which will also reduce dead pt.

I see, and is it true that china made crystal glass is cheaper? Or china made one is crystal glass and other country made one is starphire glass so the price difference? Yup acrylic is another option but for big tank like 5ft, I think the cost of making one is far more ex then tank with full starphire glass. I never check out the price but this is what I thought. =p
