here's how it looks with the sump in the tray

Here's something you don't see very often. I had a custom made acrylic tray build to be placed in my stand. This way the sump and all the equipment would sit inside the tray and allow for containment of any undesired leaks. At one end of the tray, i've drilled a hole and connected a drain piping that leads all the way out to the balcony

OK...time for some long overdue updates First up...the starmex compressor housing in the balcony. Unfortunately, the unit has yet to be setup...hopefully this weekend or early next week.

U mean u caught the blue tang and stuck it in a pail overnight? Did you have any oxygen pump running in the pail?...if you didn't and just left the fish in there, then that's probably what killed the fish.

eDen...if you're in the market for a skimmer and have sufficient cabinet heignt...best you grab this offer quick. Can't quite go wrong with a deltec...plus eheim pumps are known to be extremely reliable but should there be any issues with the pump...rest assured that replacement parts are easier to come by. Upz for the sale!

Can you provide more details? What does 1 tub constitute? It can be mainly filled with saltwater....how abundant would the pod population be in a single tub? and what's the size of the tub. Lil more info might help ur sale. And pictures would definately help too

Perhaps you can start by describing how the chiller is set up. Where did you place the chiller pump for input and where does the output go to? More details from you would help us help you better

It really depends on what you're keeping. If it's only fishes, then yes, the lighting would be fine. But if you intend to keep corals, you're gonna need more light. How much more light will depend on what corals you intend to keep.

Most common would be a 3x2x2. But depending on what you're looking for, it can vary in heignt or depth. These kinda questions are a lil difficult to answer cos we don't know what ur plans are or your preferences. But lookin at it from a generic point of view, the 3x2x2 would be most common which those who have the space to spare could look at possibly a 3x3x2 or 3x3x2.5 which would give a cube like appearance and allow for much greater aquascaping possibilities. my two cents
