if you bought form a reefer here, he should have warn you that it is 110V and cannot direct plug into the power socket in our house. and yes, it totally wasted, you can throw away or bring back to that seller and show him what happened, if he did not tell in the first place cannot like that do

if normal leakage, is just a mild shock, like your finger got bitten by ants when you touch the water... but your case if the pump overloaded, and internet might burn and bare wire showing out... however I belive for your case is the pump casing is still not broken, just leakage that why you feel the shock.. it the electric leakage is serious, mostly your home MCCB will tripped and your home will black out.. most of those "china" made pump with 2 pin plug will have mild leakage after sometime, many ppl have experice getting a slight shock whenever they touch the water...

if you say the pump is 110V, then your pump is fired , as you got a electric shock... lucky u can still post forum here... or else we might lost another nice reefer... our electric is 220V, so anything that say 110V cannot be use here, unless you have a transformer to setup down from 220V to 110V, but it not worth it.. bring your pump back to who you bought from and get it replace with a 220V pump.

one of your motor might be leaking current.. you can use a test pen to test the water for electric current. try to off all of them and them one by one and use a test pen to test for leakage, once you identify which one, you can replace that pump with a new one or or repair it. most of the time, this pump with 2 pin plug will have this problem... other method is using a ground prode and connect to the Earth of our electric socket... doing this only if you know that it it not a defective pump or equipment.. normally for me , when I choose a pump, I check if the power plug is 3pin or at least it is a 3 cable type, (u can see a grounding metal on the plug). then I will convert them to local 3pin plug type

if I put those forzen rotifer together with the babies in a tank and add a gentle wave maker to move the rotifer around.. with the main filter pump off.. will they eat it??? since this rotifier will be like free floating around....

u need a good flow of water in and out... if the flow is not there, the plant will not able to receive the "food".. "nutrient for these cheato are actually the waste from the water... these waste are from the pee , shit, uneaten food, rotten coral, fishes etc etc

many many years ago... I think back in the 1990s' I did successfully raise a batch of seahorse fries.. I think most of them die, but I did manage to get a few survive.. that was many years back... at that time there is not much of things like skimmer etc.. so I did was putting the fires in a small tank with filter sponges and bubbles only... did WC every 2 days using the main tank water... starting feed them with those (I dont know what they called) that sell in LFS, like pink, redish fires in a bag... them slowly convert to live BS... using a filter sponge only is good because it wouldnt suck away the food and spoil the water... so every 2 days I use a small tube (rubber air tube) to suck out the waste and uneaten food on the tank floor.. that all I can remember... hee hee.. hope this help
