" do u mean the white stuff ? it a PU form. which people use it for sealling, filling gap etc. as for reef safe and UV save not very sure as this the first time using it

more details as in ? reason that i stick to egg crate is that when i happen to change my mind not to have the back ground i can take out any time. further more with the egg crate act as a cushion between the rock and the tank wall maybe this brighten pic can help u see better
