    Cure for Cyanide collected fish is extreme easy.. Sodium thiosulphate.. Better known as Chlorine remover AKA Aqua-safe... this is usefull .. dont know that chlorine remover can remove cyanide.. anymore fish curing secret to share...

    your idea is almost the same as mine put your diy wave box out side beside the over flow box.. cos two box in the tank viewing not nice/.... sooner or later you will hide the box...
