my cycling of tank is almost complet and is new year so cant wait anymore, :huh : ppl come to your house and tank no fish a bit not nice lol maybe i can catch one more fish from my 2ft and transfer to 4ft tank as i using live sand (collect from beach)and most of the live rock are from my 2ft tank so teh cycling time shorten a lot

HI GUYS finally manage to overcome the flowing problem solution is to drill another hole (30mm) in my tank alongside with the 25mm hole.and the return to the main tank part of the water is going through the skimmer it look ugly as the tank act as the living room paration with the piping expose dont u guy think so ??

one last time if the sea fan dies off it would not does any harm to my tank right ??

nope place it when i reach home and stay for 3 days liao problem is that does it open up like other sea fan ?? and does it need light ?? me place it almost 3in to the water level

but i got this sea fan in singapore water around 30m-60m depth and i place it next to my powerhead blowing water at it

u can try lor but have u think if there a power failure ur pump fail, will the return to tank piping break the siphon or when the pump works again can ur piping back to the sump can self prime to siphon back the water i was like u to counter teh flow problem but never think of power failuer result my room flood a few time

ya i know but where u place the ball valve ?? the piping to sump or the pump to main tank i put mine at the pump to main tank when i keeping aro that time

i agree with hon get a overflow box althrough it not nice to have a box in tank but i solve all the problem u have like me now still have not solve my problem yet the return rate

add a ball valve control to your piping this may do the trick

can take train to boon keng also if u stay in NE line
